I just wanna point in episode 642, Thief only reaction was saying "You killed our airship, Black Mage." without caring at all for RM. I just think he's having the same behavior in the lastest comic; he doesn't care at all. He just pointed out BM would die suffocation before freezing, kinda matter-of-factly, and then changed subject.
I don't know if there are insurance matters in all that, but he's not being cruel(er), he's just not caring. Or so he seems.

Now, RM cared (a little) about BM's health, wich is kinda surprising since the murdering attempts of BM. (It's the case of Fighter too but he's just too dumb to notice BM tried to kill him, and I think even if he realized it he would not change his mind. Good Ol' Fighter...)
...I say Red Mage is a really nice guy when he's not boasting/turning half mad. ((You are my hero RM! :D *hug*))

I think BM will just survive the freezing process in horrendous pain. RM will try to heal him but BM will be immune to it.

Inane and overstated I know, but I too am really getting tired of the "Universe hates BM" gag. I guess I shouldn't make such detrimental comments since I don't have half the brilliance of Brian.

also, since we're at that, wouldn't Thief actually care if BM died? I mean, the first time he did, he ruled hell and willed that human laws were no longer applicable to him, who says he wouldn't the second time around?
