FF1 Names?
 

Aghh! I've recently started a new FF1 game using the WonderSwan version, and I can't decide on names! My party is the generic 8-bit party with Theif, RM, BM, and Fighter. I can't decide on any names, though! I mean, fght and thf just don't cut it. I've considered using Sosa for RM, but that's still not great. I'm find with keeping RM and BM the way they are, but I need suggestions!

I did the same thing. I named them Black Mage, Red Mage, Fighter, and Thief. Although you could name them Black Wizard, Red Wizard, Paladin and Ninja to preempt class change.

Note: Although their names be technically be the same, I refuse to call the 8BT characters by their old names. Why? Because their names were their classes, and now they have different classes. Therefore, new name.

Yeah, but I only have 4 characters! I can't fit the whole names.

BMag...no, that doesn't work. Name him Vivi, Vivi is cool.
Fgtr... Cloud? Nah, too thrilled. Choose something like Varg, for Vargus, I don't know.
RMag... Tricky one. Mime fits.
Thef.... Lock, for Locke?

...what?

For RM I would go with something like Stat or Dbra XD.

Fighter - Dumb

BM - BOOM

RM - Nerd

Thief - Jerk

...

WM - Good

BB - DEAD

Oh, you're playing old FF1? Thought you were playing the PS1/GBA remake.

On the PS1 remake, I just named them after my freinds. (Though I had a Black Belt, White Mage, Black Mage and a Fighter in my party. Good lord, I felt sorry for the villians! I killed Chaos, by acident, in two rounds!)

I named mine after my family members.

Fighter = Ben (I may be the smartest, but I'm also the biggest)
BM = Matt (wimpy sociopath with borderline-fetish obsessions with knives and fire)
WM = June (my Mom's name. If you most ask why, you're probably adopted)
TF = John (actually, noone else fit, and he was the only one left)
