A new Civil War...
 

Between the North and the South. Which side would win this time? What would we be fightning about?

Well, I'm not sure how it'd work out border wise unless you cut down the mid area. As far as a reason, Stereotype hate(both ways) or one of them disliking the other enough to sucede. Who would win? I have to go with the south. More southern people are in to shooting and thus are better trained and self equipped. Numbers could play a deciding factor, but the south would have florida and most of California.

I think the south would lose. The north still outnumbers us. That's what went wrong with the first Civil War.

I really doubt we would have California Mestizio. I do think we would gain Texas though.

Sorry to be blunt but if civil war rages in your country again then China, Cuba and Mexico and such would invade during the chaos and conquer the majority of the USA. Canada wouldn't be able to do **** and Nato would probably either cower out of the treaty or make it seem like they are helping when they really aren't because they can't. Australia (namely our lovely Prime Minister, John Howard) would be all like:

Omgz! We will teh liberate you!!!!1!!one!

and then We'd get our ass handed to us like Canada.

With the US gone, The arab states would mobilise against all of the UN's forces in Middle East and we'd have to rely on Israel to get us out. That won't happen because the second the US is gone. Places like Iran and Libya will nuke the **** out of any US supporting country in the Middle East.

Also, don't forget that North Korea will use its Weapons of Mass destruction to completely destroy South Korea and Japan and Australia....

Not to mention what Pakistan and India would do to each other.

Long Story Short:
1)USA has civil war
2)China uses this opportunity to mobilise their millions of troops
3)China takes over world because Russia is the only other power left to stop them and that is just sad.
4)Any other 1st world country would literally not have ANYTHING on the military strength of China and even combined they probably still stand no chance because they can't defend everywhere at once.
5)The world loses

So please don't kill each other.... Please.

Ok. Considering none of this happened I think the North would win because the South would be all like:

"We're going to overthrow you now!"

and the North would be all like:

"Negro Please, if you do that then that means you declare your independance from the current standing US government and that means you just declared war on a very large percentage of the world."

I don't see the North wanting to initiate the violence to destroy the South because the South has all the resources.

WOW....thinking about it this way, The United States does seem like a peace keeping nation for the first time in my current life that I was alive for. And to expand on that...The US will not be around for much longer as an empire or power if it keeps adding on to its debt as it is. Just look at every other major power that fell. MASSIVE amounts of debt were signs of all their falls.

So taking that into consideration, the civil war won't be fough North vs. South, but between states who are able to maintain thier budget, and states who are unable to maintain their budgets resulting in battles and fights ALL OVER the entirety of the nation and then some. The side that wins will be whatever side can borrow money to fund the war longer hence, the budgeted states IF they decide to go into debt to win. If they don't borrow, then my bet is on the states who don't have balanced budgets. The military will be equally split among the sides as each soldier will fight for his/her state which their "home" is located in.

I'm cheering for the north, simply because they're closer to Canada. Wooo, go North! Also, China can't attack everywhere just as every nation can't defend everywhere. They might have a surplus of troops, but there's a lot of land area to go around. I also think there is quite a bit of underestimation of non-US 1st world countries. Ah well, fight away you crazy burger-eating yankees. Wait a minute...I eat burgers too...

Ironically enough I think that a new civil war would probably be over something like gun control, you know if they say you can't have a gun anymore and then the gun loving states would say something like, 'hey we have the guns already, try and take them from us!' and we can see where this would go.
I just don't think it would be north-south, it would be uuumm....something else probably a sandwich type war.

What would Kansas be? Neutral? It's the center of North-South and East-West. Not exact, I know, but it is still in the general area. But whatever team I'm on, wins.
