Black Mage Hypothesis

This isn't really a hypothesis of BM's class change powers, but more like... anyone else think that with strip #666 drawing closer, that seems like a logical place to have BM realize his new potential? :D

But explain the 404: Comic Not Found thing.

and the hexadecimal one Brian mentioned.

I, personally, would do it, just to bug all the viewers. Brian seems to be the king of double standards.

Number 666 would probably involve something with the appearance of some unusual character, such as, oh I don't know...Satan?

Those two comics only have a joke in the title, the actual strip is not effected by the comic numbers.

Weee, found the quote.

As regards the 404 Comic Not Found and the Hex joke:

Those are comic titles, not comics. The plot of the comic had nothing to do with the titles or episode numbers, did it? At all? No, it did not.

The only links that have existed so far between comic number and plot point are the following:

1. The comic begins at #1.
2. Sequential events happen as the comic number increases sequentially.

Satan does not exist in this comic.

The return of Lich, then.
