So let me get it all straight basically Magus and Swordopolis are working against each other, Megahedron is yet to show his intentions, Raven is working with Bahumat and although Swordopolis did help Bahumat by guiding the light warriors to the castle, we don't know why or wether he was actually doing it to help Bahumat but it's not exactly a huge leap of logic and finally Sadra who is working with Bahumat... or at the very least using him to train the light warriors.

"Let Swordopolis and his fool try to stop you now" This implies they've stoped him before somehow, the first thing that jumps to my mind is when Swordopolis saved Fighter from drowning but besides keeping BM from killing Fighter that didn't do much. I have noticed that BM has missed with a lot of his potentially devastating Hadokens, 109 BM misses everyone in his first attempt at murdering them, 430 missing a volcano and more recently 651 missing red mage, that makes me think that maybe Swordopolis is behind the scenes slicing reality such that they miss but that is a bit of a stretch. Another possibility is that Swordopolis is the one that bound the nexus in the first place.

Anyone else have any ideas on what Magus might be referring to?

I disagree, just because we discuss it and come to a logical conclusion doesn't mean we'll be right... if anything we'll be way off since fiction doesn't have to follow logic and the suprise will be all the sweeter.

would discussing this count as being a spoiler? I would like to do so with you, however I remain unclear on that rule. But so far, I'd agree with you about swordopolis. And I mean... uh, I'll shut up before I possibly post something bad. Right. While it does seem logical that swordopolis is doing something it seems far more likely that fighter's very presence is interfereing with black mage's power. Um, I'd like to discuss this more in depth, if possible, but I REALLY don't know what's allowed and what's not.

Megahedron may just have been a throw away joke like the LW's last names.

I agree, the whole Megahedron thing seemed a little too brief to be considered canon. I must admit, though, that if RM were to have a patron deity, that is what it would look like. :)

According to the rules any spoilers should be the same color as the background text (111111) so that people need to highlight it to see it, i'm not sure if this applies to 8-bit theater but since i'm not sure i'll make some changes to my original post.

I don't think speculation can even be a spoiler. There's a law against it. One of physics. Spoiler is revealing the plot, and you can't really reveal a plot you don't know.

You could guess it, though. That's always a possibility. But if you're afraid someone else might guess a plot twist correctly, you don't have to read the spec threads.

I was more concerned with talking about the plot of the present and past comics since there's bound to be people who are reading through these comics for the first time. Does this mean i should not be concerned? Because i'd like to take the 111111 text color out.

The way I see it there are two possibilities, either he is real or he isn't and if he isn't either he will get a new one or he wont and to me it seems silly for RM to be the only one without a god and to make a new one when megahedron is right there also seems silly.
