For those of you who make, or want to start making NPF comics, i have put together this package containing NPF forumite sprite sheets, backgrounds, and a comic template for you to work with. Now i know its not perfect, so any ideas of things to add are completely welcome. Also, if i missed your sprite sheet, PM it to me and i'll add it.

It's a great idea, Major, but there's a problem.

The zip file is corrupted. There's nothing in there. Though, it may just be me.

Less than three! This is an excellent resource for newb NPF member comic makers like me.

As I am only capable of dispensing negative comments, I have some criticisms for you.

You might want to add some older versions, like 8-bit Patrat and 8-bit Meister, or Megaman-style Raiden, and you might also want to add in some of the Halloween costumes, like Patrat as Mario, phil_ as whatshisface (Ken Sebben?) or SK as a bunny. You also need to update Sithdarth's sheet.

You should also make sure you have the permission of all the people behind said sprite-sheets.

It's a good idea, though (However, I'm not downloading it as I already have a folder with all the NPF sprite-sheets I use and can't say anything on the actual quality).

I'm pretty sure these are all sheets that have been posted in the spritesheet thread, and if they are willing to post it in a thread, I think it'd be safe to put it in a zip file with other spritesheets. Some of them are marked with "Ask the creator first" notes, though.

Well, mine is marked with a "ask me first" thing, but that's only if I post it somewhere else, for some reason.

NPF'ers have full permission to use any way they want. As long as it stays the same, save from edits to suit the comic.

In which case, please add them to my sheet. I'd appreciate that. Thank you.

I second Adghar's concerns. I like my Phil Ken Sebben sprites. If Mauve gets her pirate sprites, why not _mike? And there's a lack of 8-bit versions.

Add those to your next release, if you do one.

EDIT: Me and the sprite thread just had a thirthy-ish page chat, and it told me that you forgot quite a few people. Where are Skyshot and Newb? What about Kneumatic Pnight? What's your grudge?!

Please note that I'm not upset, you put a lot of effort into this and it's appreciated, I just like to "yell" silly things.

These are really good. My compliments. Nevermind about asking me to use mine, it's alright if any old person uses me in their comic.

I think you should ask everyone else though. It's impolite to use them like that. However, if you ask, I'll doubt that they will say no.

Anyway,no credit taken away from what you did, you are awesome MB. Oh, and I can link you up to Thorques sprites aswell if you like.

For those people who say i should have permission to have the SS's in there, i got them from the SS thread so i'm pretty sure i don't have to ask. I thought that was the whole point of the thread. Could someone clarify? I'll wait until this question is answered before i post v2. If i'm right, then no problems. If i'm wrong, then it'll be a while before v2.

Those are 3 i couldn't find. I scowered the SS thread for them, but couldn't find them. Perhaps if you have them you could PM them to me?

Hey, even I was in there! And my sprites are free use! So don't worry!

And if anyone says that mine and Raidens are too much alike, I had made my sprite recolor years before, and never posted it. I kept it, and posted it just recently. It's also the only spritesheet featuring me flipping the bird.

I just might use this NPF comic maker!
