Time of my life.

I lived life too fast and died too young,
Gave away my heart when love had just begun,
Settled too soon and decided my fate,
What came after then came too late,
Too tired to notice, too caught up to care,
I couldn't change this, no time to prepare,
A swift retreat, a gentle goodbye,
I won't waste this moment as it just passed me by.

Short poem, but I wanted to post one up here as it's been a while. =3

And this is the time of your life? Interesting, but the title seems to be more of 'Too Little, Too Late" to me.

RaiRai 01-11-2004 04:47 PM

Perhaps the usage of irony doesn't work on everyone.

Does for me. Another excellent poem, RaiRai. You ought to consider getting some of it published. :D

It seems the Viewtiful works of RaiRai have returned. Excellent work!

However, the title made me remember the Green Day somg of the same name, so I expected something a little happier...

Very nice Rai. I like the irony, and the whole flow of the poem. Good job.

Onizuka's Rating: : q~ Tasty!

See, Rai. I'm not the only one who thinks there's potential. Get on it. :p

RaiRai 01-15-2004 02:04 PM

Eh, as I've said before, it's just not that easy.

Demon with a Glass Hand 01-15-2004 02:40 PM

*Hands up to show theres nothing in them* Okay Okay. This is me taking my opinions and leaving. I don't want any trouble. I'm just going to leave.

*Takes opinions and leaves the thread*

If only you were born in Estonia 150 years ago and would have been a daughter of a Newspaper founder, you would be on a 100 kr note. That's about 6,25 dollars. Think about that! You'd have to be professional though.
