Koyuki solemly reached for her father's sword, shrugging off the pain of it's still burning-hot surface. With an inaudible whimper, she sheathed the weapon once more. It felt so strange, to be burned by her own weapon, although it had been through the act of sparing Anbu's life that this pain originated.

Still, had it been a sin to draw Angetsu Shouten in defense of a human's honor?

Koyuki wasn't sure. She wasn't sure of anything anymore. As a matter of fact, she wanted to run away from all of these people and chase Kurama down on her own. Despite this urge, Koyuki knew she would be no match for the combined might of the Raigaki and all of it's dogmatic defenders.

In response to Raikotsu's comments, she simply did not respond, avoiding eye contact with the air demon.

"If either of you two kill each other, I'll never be able to forgive myself." she thought, knowing she could do little, if anything to stop a pair of frenzied males fighting over the one they loved from beating each other into gruesome bloody pulps.

Kurama burst from the forest, holding Garud and Youji on his back. What he saw near the airship almost made him stomp on the ground.

"Tayuumi, get in the ship. We're going."

Mesden 02-25-2006 08:12 PM

Her grip twitched slightly. Her blade went from Sanjuro's neck towards a resting position on her shoulder. She turned to face Kurama and their eyes met. His piercing blue eyes seemed nothing compared to hers. The blackness of them flailing. Her eyes had some strange life to them. If looked at closely enough you could see a small trickle of red coming from her left eye.

"Go ahead. I will be on in a second. First I must wipe this thing from our world with my hands. Go on ahead if you must. I MUST defeat this thing."

Her grip tightened even more. She took her normal fighting stance of the blade held up high. The shadow still lashing as violently as before.

Raiden 02-25-2006 08:17 PM

"Tayuumi!"

For the first time, Kurama had actually had anger in his voice. It was so different from the laidback attitude he usually wore. This voice was strong and powerful, and had a distinct hint of anger in it.

"Remember the vow you made. You claimed to swear that you would follow me on my quest. Well, I'm leaving now. If I leave, and you're not on that ship, then that means you're not a woman of vows that you proclaim yourself to be."

Kurama shifted the weight on his back, holding the two somewhat struggling figures.

"And anyway, are you so lost in your anger that you didn't realize the SIX ROTATING CYLINDERS OF DEATH aimed right at you? Hostile demonic auras, Tayuumi! Now let's go."

And he was right. Six of the machine cylinders had popped up out of the ground, and were aimed right at Tayuumi and Chi.

"Hm, looks like her anger's gonna be her death. Oh well, her fault, I guess," Suzume muttered coldheartedly.

Suzume still wasn't exactly known by either of them. In fact, both of them had ignored him even to this moment. Funny, he hadn't really cared...

Turning around, Suzume started walking back into the ship. He figured he could let the kid slide for now. Besides, he would have just yelled at him and gone back inside for a while longer.

Then he remembered something while he was there.

"Oh yeah, there's some girl sneaking around in there. Just thought I'd let you know," he pointed out rather flatly.

GARUD 02-25-2006 08:31 PM

Garud was able to wriggle off Kurama's back and walked over to the airship, Wind spirit in tow.

"I'll investigate it Kurama. Leave it to me, I'll find the root of the problem."

Garud hurried off into the airship, with his summon floating happily behind him. Running through the left corridoor, he wondered who could have found out if this was Kurama's airship, or if it was just a mistake.

(OOC: DB, I ignored your killing of my spirit. It was nowhere near you, so you could not have done that anyway.)

<Dammit. I was so close. I can hit them from here. But if I attack I will die. I can't strike and stop hundreds off beads at once. Dammit! Why here! Why the hell did this happen! If I were a little faster. Just a little faster. Thta thing has to die. It is the worst kind of abomination. Dammit. I guess.

"Fine. But you must swear that if we ever come across either of them I get to slay them. No matter what you have to do, I get to vanquish the hellish beasts. I don't care what it takes. If I am across the world you will find me and get me. You must promise me this."

She glared at Kurama. Her eyes flashing even more. Her gaze of anger was gone, but the feeling of it remained.

His eyes focused. His expression of anger faded into the calm man that everyone knows. He spoke, "Promises are for those that don't trust the other person to do something naturally."

"Fine."

She lessened the grip on her sword. The blade dispersed violently, but dispersed none the less. She looked back towards the two demons.

"Remember, I will be the one to kill you both. This blade will be your last sight. The shadow of my anger shall end your abomination of an existance. Remember my name and my blade. There will be no cylinders next time. I guarantee this fate."

She returned her blade to its holster. The engulfing shadow protrusions lessened to small, daggerlike bursts. She walked into the ship. Scarring it upon the way.

((Summary: She agrees to stop her attack thanks to Kurama. Goes inside airship after threat on Chi and Sanjuro.))

"Hey Iori. I'shm here to shave yous!" Kazunori said as he walked up to him. Behind him, the ones that had surrounded him all laid dead. Ended up he had been spending all this time dealing with them. In fact, it looked like they were all impaled on each other's weapons.

Kazunori approached anyways, pretty much ignoring whoever he may have been fighting. "Heys man, we gotta getsh outta here." He said to Iori, swaying on his feet. Iori was close enough to see the beads of sweat that were appearing, showing that it wasn't the easiest thing in world to keep up a drunk fighting pace.

Funka Genocide 02-25-2006 10:22 PM

Iori had noticed the odd man who transformed into a sword as his heart tried to make sense of what was right. He could feel a palpable sense of power emanating from the blade, a weapon so extraordinary it had a mind of its own. With such a weapon he could sweep his enemies before him like so much rubbish, he knew that death and mayhem would result from him drawing that most deadly of blades.

Before Iori could address the sentient sword however, Genkai had sprinted by and tugged it from the ground without so much as a whisper.

"Thank you for removing temptation Kurama..." he whispered almost inaudibly, scared himself of what his dire hands could accomplish with such a force held within them.

He saw the progressive breakdown of Raikotsu and the demon known as Anbu's broken reasoning. He saw Koyuki grow furious in defense of his honor. He knew there was no choice for man like himself. An idiot who seeks only a worthy opponent.

After the cowering Anbu had been scared half to death by Koyuki's devastating charge, after Raikotsu had let everything he had fall from his mouth. Iori finally spoke.

"Focus Lord Arashi!" he shouted to the distracted demon lord. "We have business, you and I!"

Iori assumed a fighting stance of even weight balance, his hands open palmed, his right held low and back while his left was held near his face. It appeared much like an aikido stance. There was no smile to be found on his face this time.

The voice of the powerful drunkard from before went unheeded, Iori gleening that the man meant to escape somewhere before completely shutting him out.

Kirie walked with an awkward smile and gently put her hand on Hinote's shoulder, jostling his arm with her breasts accidentally. "You might save yourself a lot of trouble if you hushed up. Hinote-san, wasn't it?"
Sanaka got to work ordering the soldiers to bury their dead comrades, joining them in digging up graves.
"Listen, please. Tsubasa...that is, the white-haired woman in the white kimono that was with me...she wants to set up a base in Europe where the torso is to take it...or at least keep Genkai from getting it. Is it possible that you could set me up with a map detailing the location of that torso?"

Summary of Events: Kirie buddies up with Hinote and asks him to draw a map of Europe detailing where the torso is. Sanaka and the forces still living bury their perished allies.
