Well, you're going to need to try and block or at least deflect Koyuki's now-etheral weapon from annihilating your soul.

That's pretty much all. I'm sure you'll think of a properly dramatic defense.

GARUD 02-25-2006 06:31 PM

Okay Dragonsbane, just read your post. How is it that you destroyed the spirit? It's a SPIRIT. You cannot kill it, only dismiss it and that's by striking it's center crystal. It doesent matter if you are both wind or not, you still cannot touch it (it'sbody, not the crystal). Especially when it's quite a distance from you. Whch it was. Just don't do that again, alright?

Oh, just one more thing. The wind spirit is far from fodder. You could not have done that so easily.

Dragonsbane 02-25-2006 06:31 PM

Err, Phoenix, did you even READ any of my posts? Raikotsu didn't run from anything, he apologized for Kurama's duel taking precedence, and he didn't "challenge a weaponless foe", he offered to find him another sword or fight him without weapons. Are you just doing this so Koyuki can be mad at everything again? We know she's a badass, she doesn't have to be a bitch to everyone in every scenario to prove it.

Raiden 02-25-2006 06:33 PM

.....where did Iori's new weapon come from? I had grabbed Youji and ran like hell.

PhoenixFlame 02-25-2006 06:37 PM

Ah. Koyuki had proxied for Raikotsu. He may have refused, but then running off to go fight Kurama really isn't a good case for him. Secondly, Iori demanded I fight him. Thirdly, Koyuki soundly defeated him in a battle, and allowed him to live.

Then, Raikotsu jumps in and immediately challenges him to another duel, presumably to the death.

That's going to make her angry, as he's taking advantage of Iori's temporary weakness.

Not to mention she's confused as all getout right now.

*I* understand your posts perfectly. Koyuki does not. Do not confuse us.

Spirits can die. Every mythology has killable spirits. On the other hand, you're using it to kill my allies, so I'm going to crush it. As for "far from fodder", it's a little Air Spirit, Raikotsu is an Air Demon prince. He can harden it, then shatter it.

Um... yeah. As in cower and throw out a weapon in an attempt to block it? Yup, got that covered. He is looking at you with puppy dog eyes... that HAS to mean something...:sweatdrop

EDIT: To put it bluntly... dramatic? I don't have a special blocking mechanism, and anything that would be "unlocking demon powers to defend me" or something would be God modding. And seeing as how 3 out of 3 teachers at the RP school think I should sign up for classes to recognize and not do God modding, I don't think I should pull something like that out of my ass.

PhoenixFlame 02-25-2006 06:45 PM

Hehe, well, that'll do.

Koyuki wouldn't go so far as to murder one of her countrymen if he didn't fight back, even in the face of such insolence.

Krylo 02-25-2006 06:49 PM

On the monks and Taken: Note, that's showing how strong the monks are, not how weak Taken is. Against the demons you ALL got to whet your fangs on he would have done just as well.

Also, the monks have prayer beads and sutras to use against demons, making them even more difficult for demon players.

I'm going to be annoyed if the evil players waste them like nothing now.

Personally, I used Iron Sword, since it mimics her fast and powerful Daiklave style. Soul of Nightmare works also.

Katana fits too, though.

Needless to say, I beat chronicles of the sword with Koyuki too... :p

Yah, I used iron sword too, for the same reason. Also made her swordmaster because of her above human demon-stats. Rampant slaughter didst follow.

I was thinking Soul of Nightmare for the explosion attacks and what have you that are reminiscent of the channeling, but Barbarians just don't have the staying power Koyuki does.

Hmm... I seeem to recall that the air spirit is controled by a PC, if I'm not mistaken. Techincally, Garud's summons are like an extention of himself. Killing them would be like killing a PC (sorta). Why? Cause killing a spirit means it's out of the RP permanently. Basically, you have just done the equivilent of taking away Koyuki's soul strike.

Lets see now. You reached half way across a field, to get right next to Kurama and Garud, to take the air spirit (which you have no control over) and kill it in an improper fassion (sp?), all whilst not talking or getting attcked by either of them. Unless you change yours, I'm just gonna act like you never actually did that. So, are you going to change the post?
