Of Heaven and Hell: interest thread
 

the story is simple, a group of devils, angels, and scorcorers wish to bring about the final war between heaven and hell. The reasons are different but they all need to do the same thing, kill every human on the planet. To stop them both heaven and hell have sent hunters to kill them. Obviously there are also those on earth that wish to stop them.

In the actual RP I will go into more detail, however here is my big question. Should you be the ones trying to whipe out humanity, the hunters, or should I allow you to be both and go the PvP route?

I will expand more on story and mechanics later. Any questions, just ask.

Try thinking of more ideas, this one isn't much appealing...

But if you must, it'll be easier to be the hunters.

I have a mythological gods idea I'm doing at other forums. Would you like to do that instead Aeorozord?

This is kind of the interest thread for Aerozord's idea, not your own. It's not very polite to post about your RP when he's trying to find the interest in his.

Yeah, I would want a few more details on the game itself before I make a decision. This could work really well on the PvP route if you let it be rather loose. However, I think it would be more interesting to work as the people trying to destroy the world. Running from police is fun!

sounds like a really fun idea, my personal preference would be for everyone to be on the same rather than PvP. But any form of this idea could be interesting.

ok here is some more info about use of powers. they come in two varieties. Light and Dark, duh. Now types of spells are simular in both types, difference is where you draw the power. Light draws power from the air, dark comes from the ground. Angels can only call on power light, devils can only call on dark, and they are weak against the opposing types and resistant to the same type. I mean very resistant, obviously hunters can harm anyone. Humans can use both types (but they can focus on one) and are vulnerable to both.

Now to clear up somethings, you can draw on dark power anywhere but the further you are from the ground the longer it takes to gather the energy. Light energy can be absorbed from anywhere with air, so basically anywhere you can breath. Down side is the more polluted the air the harder it is to gather energy. If the air is too contaminated then you simply cant use magic. So you have an idea of how posioned, if its enough to kill you slowly, then your magic is dead

Being on the Dark Side is more beneifical...

You see, Light has a great chance of being more handicapped than Dark.

Also, Light has a point where it cannot get power... while Dark just gets slower.
