Electronic Gaming Monthly Gets Sassy
Long time no see, guys.
Got a piece of gaming news, don't think it's been posted here yet (ran a quick search to be doubly sure, but if it has been, my apologies). I quote the following: Quote:
Personally I ain't touching EGM's magazines at all after hearing this. Threatening customers you've offended with a parody is really uncouth. |
That parody is very tasteless and irreverent; I'm surprised that EGM didn't parody 9/11 after seeing this. And I don't know why they threatened the guy over a simple complaint. My opinion of EGM dropped a lot today.
|
Which issue was that in?
|
The boycott is on...
|
But, I like EGM...
THERE IS NO GOD! Or maybe there is, and he's playing a sick joke on me. |
All those links are dead.
|
Dead links, huh? Odd, as I was just there a couple hours ago. Conspiracy?
|
I think there is, because I saw all of those sites a little while ago, and that was abysmal that they would do what they did. I really like EGM and buy their mag almost every month, but I won't be getting another copy unless they apolagize for this.
|
Or it could be that their server crashed. They had well over 1000 users online when I was there.
EDIT: Nevermind. Site's back up. |
...I am speechless. How could they...why... I am seriously on the verge of tears over this. Insulting those soldiers by replacing pictures of their dead friends with pictures of f***ing games?!?! I never liked EGM, but this...this is just wrong. My god, horrible bass turds.
