Hey hey hey! Your friendly neighborhood BlindMime here to offer up another rp idea, but at the same time, I do miss Shadows of the bat just a tinge. So being as democratic as we are here at NPF I thought I'd put it up for a vote.

An rp of vampires set just before the renaissance, there are three covens each claiming to be decendant of the first vampire; the first coven is an aristocratic set of vampires which resemble most closely vampires the masquerade, they are the children of Dracula; the second coven would act more like vampires from John Carpenters vampires, one elder with a bunch of younger minions who basically blitzkreig towns, they are the children of Vlad; The third and final coven are the children of Alucard, they hide themselves away in castles and other royal places, they rarely kill humans they treat them as cattle, on occasion the loyal ones are allowed to join the coven.

The story would revolve around the appearance of a fourth coven which is obscenely powerful for appearing overnight, players would be able to be from any coven (including the fourth if i like ya) or a Vampire hunter, not like D, but a good vampire hunter. I'd also be very open to suggestion for this idea, although the powers are going to be pulled more from castlevania. Way more details available upon request.

OR revive the shadows of the bat rp, a roleplay filled with DC villain and superheroes with a plot that was about to come into play when I got tired of writing super long updates.

And If I don't get votes for any I'll just shut my big mouth.

I vote for the first one. Shadows of the bat was fun, but to me it just got overcomplicated with everyone's elses story line seeming to clash with each other.

shadows of the bat sure was fun. Even though I didn't end up doing my alternate character. Because I got bored. Though I forget what of. Course being a Vampire hunter is always enjoyable. but then again I could be a Vampire hunter in eaither universe. Heck I could be a Vampire in eaither universe. So in short I vote for both.

So that puts the vote to 1 vampire and 1 whatever. Vampire jumps out to an early lead.

So what's the difference between the first and third covens? Artistocratic versus castle-dweller snobs? I'm more interested in vampires, just for clarification.

The aristocrats go out and hunt and often adventure, they enjoy the fact they are vampires. While the castle dwellers brood about their existence and rarely go out at all, they allow the mythos that goes on about the castle to bring them prey.

So to simpify, first coven are made of extroverts and the third is introverts.

I'm good for either.

Vampires are fun. And Vampire Hunters are funner. And i have just the character.
