The Modern Edda - webcomic!
Yes, sirs and madams, I have finally created a webcomic I call The Modern Edda.
It is centred about the Norse gods, Loki, specifically. The deal is, he tries to start Ragnarök, but something happens, and he ends up stuck on earth as a mere mortal. Now, the offical site only has the first comic up. It updates every Sunday. However, being to awesome chick I am, I'm going to release to you the first three comics! A Nuklear Power Forums exclusive! Number 1: http://img455.imageshack.us/img455/7...mall3ae.th.png Number 2: http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/1140/29xn.th.png Number 3: http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/7223/35hh.th.png Edit: We now have a forum available. |
Not bad.
At least it didn't immediately repulse me like most webcomics do. I enjoy Norse mythology, and your comic seems interesting so far. Good luck. Edit: I just looked at the actual site. No offense, but it could use a lot of work. (I mean the site, of course.) |

Don't they allow HTML?
|
Yes, but I'm not great at that either. So, until the comic has a stronger going, it's going to be functionality over style.
|
O_O I like it. There need to be more serious webcomics out there. The art is fantastic. I think the greyscale works (if it isn't intentional, I know someone who would be happy to color :) ).

Looks good, Skit. Looks very good.
Aside from the art, I'm more interested in the writing. As there isn't really enough at this point for me to provide any constructive criticsm, I won't. But I look forward to the development of this comic/project of yours. |

And Skit, you might find Webmonkey to be a helpful resource when you feel like working on the site more. |
I'm glad you guys all like it. ^_^ It's going to be mostly serious, but there will be a few jokes now and then, considering it's a sort of fish-out-of-water story... Or a Norse God-out-of-Europe story, technically.
It's very narration heavy at the moment because Loki is having a flashback, but it probably won't stay like this. ^_^ |
Sweet! Fenrir!
I'm interested already. I like Norse mythology very much, and when it comes to Ragnarok, there is no way I could keep myself away from this. I hope you do well with the comic Skit! |
