They once existed in harmony, the human realm and the demon realm. Though the Demon King was not satisfied with his rule over the demon realm. He thought that since the human were powerless, that this would be an easy task. Indeed, the humans were weak against the many powers the demons had. They were overwhelmed with the fright that they would be no more.

That is, until a demon rose up and took arms against his comrades. He lead the humans to victory by deafeating the Demon King. Not wanting to let this scourge loose once more, he sealed the door to the demon realm and left his own powers behind.

But one thing isn't known. Sparda wouldn't have gotten to where he was without the help of a small party of warriors. Containing humans, demons, and one half-devil. They defeated the demons Sparda had once forgotten about. This is their story.

Humans start off with an orb(please help me come up with a better name) that allows them to absorb and use the powers of fallen demons. The only catch is that the powers they absorb take a toll on their body (ie. faster aging, fatigueing faster, sickness) so they must be absorbed wisely. When a demon dies, only one person may absorb their power. Once absorbed, the demons body disappears. No one should hog all the powers, take turns.

Powers: Electricity. He can produce it as lightning. It also creates an induction field around him. Thus with each hit he produces a small discharge dulling the opponets sence of touch and causing his reactions to slow.
Appearence: 6 feet with golden eyes and hair. The hair is spiked purely by his own powers. His teeth are fanged (as in them all) and ears pointed. His dress is that of an ancient demon warrior.
Bio: He was once a warrior for the demon king, but soon what had become of his people. Soon he found others that also believed like he did, that the King needed to be stopped. He had dishonered their noble people. This could not go unpunished

On a note of my powers. They all extend from the same basic principles of electricity. So I am unsure if I can have more abilities or even if I have too much

[EDIT #3]: On a calmer note to others, Demons don't look human. At least in the first and third game, demons may be humanoid, but they don't look at all like humans.

1) Controlling electricity isn't something easy. As in, if you're going to use electricity in lightning, beams, and spheres, that's it. Those are your three max abilities.

2) Induction field? If you have an aura of electricity around you, there is no "It's going to damage you if you get close." It's, "My weapon is repelled from my hand by the magnetism, I can't grasp any items, I've never eaten in my life since food would fry away any nutrients, I have yet to lie down on anything but concrete since I set fire to any kind of fabric, which also means I walk around naked since clothing can't touch my body, and that wouldn't be a problem, since I should have died a long time ago from all of that." Not only that, but do you know how draining that would be? ESPECIALLY since none of us are even close to Uber yet. You wouldn't be able to move, since all your energy would go to holding up that aura.

3) I highly doubt you'd be a great Demon Lord. Since to be a Demon Lord, you would have to be very powerful, and considering everything about this, you shouldn't even be near that powerful. If anything, we'd have killed you to take your soul as a Devil Arm.

4) Numbing people's nerves with a single touch is yet another uber ability, since all you'd have to do is touch them.

5) Your character would look nothing like a human, since he's a demon. He may be humanoid, but he'd look nothing like a human.

If you're going to take electric, expect much flak from me based on your powers. I've got an electric reputation to uphold.

Well, what I'm about to edit my post with is, the humans'll be carrying orbs (if anyone can come up with a good name for em I'd be happy) that allow them to absorb and use the powers absorbed from defeated demons. The demons gain abilities based their fighting. Aerial attacks could mean a flight ability, ground attacks could mean a more powerful skill, or fast attacks could result in you gaining Quicksilver. As for Devil Arms, it depends on the demon you defeat. They could turn into one or they could drop the weapon they were holding, if they had one.

ok weakened his powers, but an induction field is natural. Anything with an electrical current produces one. His is only about half an inch, but high voltage lines have one that extends for about 15 ft. I am not talking about a, you get electricuted, but that you get a small pulse of electicity. As for weapons, his is made for electricity. And unless the weapon is pure metal wouldn't be too much of an issue.

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Race: Half-Devil
Weapon: Unarmed/Claws/Gauntlets (you get the idea)
Powers: Demonic Strength- The most notable and obvious of Kale’s abilities is his strength. He could pick up a boulder if he wanted to, and his fighting style only serves to show off that fact.
Acrobatics- While not the speediest person around, Kale has learned how to maneuver in a fight and just while running around as well. He can do basic stunts (handsprings, flips, rolls, etc), but also goes for things that can’t be done by humans (wall runs, wall hikes, other such stuff). Basically, he can do the basic stuff that a DMC3 Trickster could do.
Essence Channel- While he is able to call out his demonic side, Kale has developed a trick where he can put his demonic power into a punch or kick for a more devastating blow at the loss of having to build of some more of his DT energy.
Appearance: About 6 feet tall with eerie gray eyes and dark gray hair (about to his shoulder blades and cut out of his bangs). He has a normal build, despite his strength, so he can easily trick people if necessary. He usually wears a worn blue t-shirt with a strange dragon logo singed onto the back, a pair of dark brown pants, some normal boots, and a pair of leather gloves with the same logo on them as the shirt.

DTed: Kale's gray features seem to extend to the rest of his body when he lets his demonic side out completely. His whole body looks like it's covered in a rocky plate mail of a silvery sheen only seen in the most cared for jewelry. His head changes shape a lot, with his teeth being changed into large fangs, his eyes glowing a deep blue, and his ears ending in points. To finish this off, he grows fins on the side of his head that almost look like those on a dragon, along with small horns on the top of his head to finish off the dragon motif. His hands change into claws, with his knuckles being covered extra by his armor for extra hurt, with this extra armor continuing up to his elbows. His feet have a similar motif (claws, extra armor from feet to knees).
Bio: Being born a half demon wasn’t exactly the best of things to happen to Kale. Once his powers started showing up, he was quickly exiled from his hometown because of the takeover going on from the demons (he was about eight right here). When he was found in the wild by demons, they dismissed him as nothing and ordered him killed because he had human blood in him and thought him to be a weakling (he was about ten here, so he couldn't fight).

Needless to say, Kale doesn’t exactly feel like he belongs anywhere. Humans, he felt, are the kind that would do anything for their own safety, and demons wouldn’t care what he did because he was a half breed who they felt was close enough to being a human. He cared for himself most of the time, fending off demons when necessary, without weapons, and somehow managing to survive until a group of humans found him in his makeshift home (I’ll say he was twenty four here). He wasn’t exactly like a wild animal, but he was damn close at that point.

After seeing what he could do, the humans decided to take him in and let him protect the village. While quite a twist, to Kale, he still felt rejected and said he would stay on the outskirts of the village. He’s slowly losing his indifference towards humans because of this kindness, but it’s still there, so he rarely ever sets foot inside this village unless it’s necessary.


Also, should I post an appearance for him for a DT that comes without a Devil Arm? Just wondering, cuz I figure I'll be posting new DT forms with every new Devil Arm I get, if I get more than one in the course of this thing.

The only time you would have an induction field is when you're using your electricity. The field appears when an electric circuit is made and follows through. Which means, unless you have electricity flowing out of your body, you're not going to have one.

Plus, simply saying that "They can hit me, but if they do it numbs their nerves" is kind of uber. That's basically saying no one can touch you without getting affected.

elecricity merely needs to flow for an induction field to be created. Being a thunder demon would mean your natural field is constant. In fact its impossible for an induction field to not exist if there is an electrical flow.
