Is it my turn already.... as far as my call for werewolves go, they are stronger and faster then even an honored elder, this doesn't not mean they would win in a fight though, just arm wrestling and races. The brute force of power is what they are known for.
Now as for defeating them, that comes from what Krylo has said, tactics and battle experience. Because they aren't unstoppable, there are three specific powers of the vampire which would work quite well against the werewolf; soul absorption which would tire the beast and eventually kill him. Telepathy, the beast has very little mind to manipulate but there is still enough there to push him to alternate goals, like putting an image of a more tempting target into his mind. Now this doesn't mean he's a puppet either, he still has basic instincts which need to be kept in mind when issuing mental commands, like eating and killing and if your commands are to complicated for his brain they wont work. Keep it simple and stupid and it should work out. Aura of Fear is the final one, as the power would make anyone a less tempting feast, it wouldn't cause the wolf to run away in fear, but he wouldn't provoke an attack from anything with this ability. As for the humans who have to face off against a werewolf faith based attacks can stop him, crosses will hold him at bay and to be frank, silver hurts like a bitch. Also to make it clear about his fighting abilities, a werewolf is more often then not missing his target, not because he was to slow but because he didn't predict its next move properly. Zig-zagging sadly enough could work. And if I ever feel that Raiden isn't being random enough with his attacks, if he's ignoring the possibility of human prey, or friendly fire to much, I'll control his wolf ass temporarily. For it will amuse me, if for but a moment. Any further questions about werewolves should be hashed out immediately, otherwise it shall be left to Raiden and Myself what the limits are. |
I'm double posting cause I'm the GM and frankly theres nothing any of you can do about it. Unless your krylo or any of the other mods/admin.
Anywho Toasty you can totally wail on that villager without me doing gm posts to intervene. |

Its cool, I think I gave him a name for ease in referencing him. So its partly my fault.

As that I'm about to be surrounded with vampires, I suppose I should reference the level of my character's infamy.
He doesn't have a lot. Many people may not even recognize him. He did run with the fang for a very short time, only because they were closest to where he was turned, but that only lasted a few years if that long. However, he has gained a bit of infamy as he has a habit of killing particularily vicious or uncouth vampires... or vampires who feed until a person is dead when it's not even necessary for them to drink blood at that moment. Not too many tales have spread of that, though. He's not in the practice of attacking groups of vampires, and if he's just killing one--well who's going to tell it. So in other words, some people might know him, most won't. Those who do will feel different things toward him depending on their feelings toward his killing other vampires. |
As for Geoffrey, as said not many vampires even in his coven really know him by sight, though certainly most not newly initiated know that the Nightfall has a somewhat... eccentric Honored Elder living out there.

I'm Marcus.
I'm a blood thristy vampire who enjoys leveling villages, eating children, and long moonlit walks on the beach. |
Well, see, the rest of you kind of have your 'infamy level' built right in.
For instance, Marcus is a fang vampire who is 'ranked' kind of high. He would be well known amongst the fang, but the other coven members probably wouldn't know him too well, unless they took the time to learn about the fang in particular, or had a direct run in with him. CMP is a spirit vampire along the same lines of Marcus. Geoffery is a reclusive honored elder--what he just said could be easily surmised. My character is a lone wolf who kills other vampires when they act too vicious and has a nickname that the other fangs (who know him) call him. It's harder to infer exactly how many people of each coven know him/of him from that. |
I've got a question, exactly how long ago (or as close as we can tell) was the breakup of the covens? Like for example would Geoffrey have been alive to remember or it, or was it a thousand years beforehand?
|
It has been a millenia since the split of the coven, so Geoffrey wouldn't remember it first hand, but he would have seen the early versions of all three covens. And most likely their original leaders.
Also I left the door open for Jerico and Jeremiah to sneak on in if it wasn't already apparent. |
