Wow, I am easily manipulated.
My friend convinced me to make copies of a significant portion of my library, he just got like 6 and 1/2 albums, in exchange for one.

Well done
Now all you need to do is open a record store that takes trades i'll be there everyday |
is this going to lead to anything other than making fun of how easily manipulated he is or somewhatnot that we don't allow on this board? This doesnt seem like it would contribute a whole lot as of now nor turn into a discussion. So howsabout we all share a story in here of how we were all easily manipulated?
I was at work oneday, working at the ol'e grocery store, when one of my Co-Workers, Carlton came up to me and asked me if I had any change on me. I told him I did, and so he coaxes me into flipping for it, a nice game of where one person flips a coin and the next person has to match it. if you dont match it, the first person gets both coins, if its matched, the second person gets the coins. anywho, we play this game, and I lose 4 times straight in a row losing all my change worth 65 cents. |
I have bought drinks for many girls at bars
that's almost sad also if a pretty face tells me to do damn near anything I'll do it so you could say that I am a sucker for a pretty face. and for free records. |
The thing was that he just made off with 6 CD's that cost me about $80 combined for free. Bastard.

:O unlucky... Kill him :D
Or, break into his house, kill him, steal his records, then burn down his house! Just a thought :D |

Well, one time in Deus Ex these chicks asked if I'd pay their way into the night club because their friend had all their money, and I was like "My vision is augmented" but they didn't get it so I just left them there and later they were killed in a gunfight and I looted their corpses like a good secret agent and THEY HAD THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ON THEM. I was so pissed off that they tried to trick me, I loaded my last savegame and killed them myself and then also had to kill everyone else in the night club because it's a law or something.
I think that's the closest I've ever come to being easily manipulated except for that one time a friend of mine was like "Hey, DFM, you should hit that kid in the head with a calculator." and I did it because I'm a slave to peer preassure. |
I don't believe in peer pressure, In fact a growing joke amongst my friends is to mimic somone else's interaction with a third party.and say, "everybody else was doing it"(Ex: John points at Sebastien. Clarence points at sebastien for no good reason. when sebastien says "What are you doing?" clarence says"Everybody else was doing it"). and now for my contradictory story.
when I was in about sixth grade I was sitting next to a guy on the bus , Who said something realtively rude, I just ignored him, someone said "Man you should slap that nigga" then he said something rude again to which I replied almost giddily "Shut up (blank)" and slapped him, a fight broke out, which involved me getting suspended off the bus. |
What, you don't believe in peer pressure? Like...that it doesn't exist, or that it doesn't do anything? It doesn't need you to believe in it, it just IS.
"Oh table, without you we are not." |
