Soldiers of Light Discussion 7: Incipient Violence
 

The stage is getting set for a massive brawl on the island and we're already beginning to have questions about it.

Aside from Phoenix's query about the monks, I'd like to know how far the airship is away from the temple in terms of how long it would take at a walk or a run. There's a good chance of there being an ambush or something after all and it's unrealistic to do it if the Temple's too close.

I guess I'm going to put asterisk references in here... cuz I'm too lazy at the moment to change my post XD

* Turkey Vulture - A raptor of the Vulture species that is black with white stripes on the underside of its wings. It is not bald save for the vivid, slightly wrinkled red face.

I also chose it because it looks prettier than the other vulture kinds, and has sharper smelling sensors than most other animals. It can also forage/scavenge in the forest by scent alone, rather than the open planes like other vultures do. I don't really know about its reliability over large bodies of water, though.

Probably the best over open water is an Albatross.Great wingspan, they can fall asleep and still fly.

Just one question though... was this turkey vulture you speak of, related in some way... to Ecurt? Just wondering.

Would anyone have a problem if I simply reached the island on a rowboat? You know, one of those boats that samarais stand in with that long stick pushing themselves forward. I ask because that means by walking I somehow managed to catch up to an airship.

Soldiers of Light Xtreme Beach Volleyball?

Tsubasa and Koyuki Vs Kirie and Raikotsu (who is in a thong for reasons nobody could ever hope to understand)

Tsubasa: "Here goes, bitches!" *serves the volleyball*
Raikotsu: "Feh." *uses control of the wind to make the serve fall short of the net because he's an asshole*
Tsubasa: "Koyuki, he's cheating! Make the save!"
Koyuki: *grabbing at her head* "Get these disgusting thoughts out of my head! Goddamnit, Kirie!"
Kirie: "I'm sorry. Really, I am. What the hell is wrong with me today?"
Raikotsu: "Mwa ha ha! I'm going to win this bet and get that date with Kirie so easily! Just stop the volleyball on their side of the court and tell Kirie all the naughty things I'm gonna do to her to keep Koyuki experiencing horrifying visions! ...Hinote's actually kinda useful now that I think of it."

How much is the time discrepency between team good and team evil on the island?

Also, heh, will Raikotsu still hate me when the link produces such interesting dream sequences from Kirie again :P

By the way, at the moment Hinote is outside the cave doing something.
