EDIT: That sounded a bit harsher than I was going for. We're doing the 'ask him and wait to see if he acknowledges' approach because that's how he outlined how things should proceed when he created this forum. I can understand however why this particular forum doesn't rank high on attention among the mods because, well, we're just a games forum, and the time could be better spent putting out the near-flame-wars happening in Discussion or somesuch, rather than focusing on some games that only a small portion of the populous plays.

While I agree with your method, as it's exactly how I wanted to do things when I started the Game List, I can understand where shiney is coming from. If you look at it from a new-person-to-the-forum's perspective, you wander into the Games forum and see all the mafia games at the top or entrenched within (and the Games List on the bottom or another page if it isn't stickied) and just assume that anyone can make a Mafia game and pretty soon they've spammed the Games forum and it's more work for the mods.

Still, it couldn't hurt to bring up your suggestion with shiney, but just postulating to us will solve no problems.

What i was thinking would be a good idea was if my Dragonlance themed game was roleplay encouraged. Like for every 1 post, you had to make a roleplay post adding to the game. What do you think? If noone likes it i'll just run it normally, but otherwise you can assume thats how i want to run it.

Every game decision is up to you. But, for precedent, I urge you to look at the very first Mafia game, around the beginning when RPing seemingly harmless actions were prevalent.

Anyways, I've given Orange Mage til Friday to get his game together, so if I don't hear anything by then I'm going to move the list up a notch.

I see that as a good thing. It creates a sense of paranoia prevelant with the infesting of murderous thugs in your general area. Makes for a more... interesting game. Anyways, send me a PM and tell me what you think. Too much negative reaction and i'll nix it.

CMP, I would like to point out that I had already requested a game before Major_Blood's game. I see I am not on the list and thought I would remind ya of it. And if you need a name on it call it "Mafia: Treasure Hunter Edition."

Major_Blood: Ultimately the decision should be up to you. Maybe the problem with the first NPF: Mafia was that everyone wasn't fully aware of the RP element and a clarification at the beginning would suffice. It couldn't hurt to try it out in yours I suspect.
