Live action Simpsons you say....

My pops sent me this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brh6KRvQHBc

It makes me sad he found it first. And I justify putting this here because its based off of, and ends with an animation. And if thats wrong, WELL THEN I GUESS I'D JUST HAVE TO, apologize formally or something.

Now who wants to see this for real?

gurusloth 03-19-2006 04:06 AM

Yeah, I dunno, it's clever and all, but I don't think the concept would hold up over a whole episode....plus if it did spin off into a live-action show, the kids would all grow up and wouldn't be in elementary school forever like they are now.

VG Cats linked to the news article two weeks ago.

I saw this on TV last week on Sky Three!

Yeah they would have to grow up, is that really a problem? Also as chicagoxlollie just pointed out in article format, its just advertising. I guess you need not worry about the threat of a simpsons which advances.

You know, I heard on the radio that they'll actually be using this for the opening of the new episode tomorrow.

Flarecobra 03-27-2006 08:17 PM

And they did. It wasn't bad.

Mondt 03-27-2006 10:31 PM

Yup, that episode rocked, too. Honestly, I found the man's genie joke quite humorous. Nothing against anyone but a good laugh is necessary at certain things. I mean, some things get too offensive but wife/husband jokes aren't too bad my opinion.

Although, at my age, I haven't had to experience that yet.

Flarecobra 03-27-2006 11:08 PM

I've heard it diffrently though. IT was the husband that got ten times what the wife had.

Major Blood 03-27-2006 11:36 PM

The live action Homer didn't actually look like Homer. He looked more like Steve Balmer.
