I have been changed in opinion

I must bring this up, for my previous accusations were only on here-say.

I...like...Final...Fantasy...X-2!

I found the game to be incredibly well made and quite entertaining at that. I played almost two hours so you can't say I am using demos as the crutch. I like the way the game opens, and I love the battle system and the job class system, even if they are called dresspheres!

Anyone who says any different, please at least sit down and play the game for about an hour or two. Then you may think differently.

Or, you may be like me, who, after two painful, agonizing hours, may be cursing themselves for spending money on the horrid crap.

But, that's just my opinion, and personal experience.

Xeno14 01-12-2004 11:24 PM

it's not bad, but the job system is just ffv's redone

Misocainea 01-12-2004 11:37 PM

Yeah, after about 15 or so hours for me, my conclusion about that game is the same as it was 30 minutes in the game. There is nothing more to than this game that 3 air-heads (I never liked Rikku as a character, but when did Yuna become retarted). Traving the world chasing some guy (not saying who for people who have yet to play it, is it tidus? is it not?).

*shakes head gravely* We've lost another one.

Seriously though, I beat the game and didn't like it, but I can still see how others might enjoy it. So keep playing, and enjoy youself.

Whatever floats yer boat. Preferably water, though sailing the seas of cheese is fun.

I've played X-2 for 4 hours total. I like X alot and was hoping to at least finish it for the plot, but X-2... has no plot. It looks rather hastily made(the action O command stuff, for instance) and like I said, the plot was definitely thrown together in roughyl ten minutes. It's not a totally bad game, but it's not a very good one, relying way too much on the original and way too on Rikku being really hot :-P

I enjoy the speed of FF X2's battle system. Moves nice and fast. Personally I really like the game. Even if the plot isn't extremely inventive. But maybe the reason plot doesn't bother me as much anymore is because Xenogears plot is so good that I had to give up on any game ever beating it ;)

I've played a good bit of X-2 and though the plot leaves a lot to be desired it has a good battle system and I liked the job system (even with the horribly chick name of dressshpears) It's a good game to play for a few hours when youre bored, but dont expect it to keep you riveted to the TV screen for days and nights on end.

Short FF RPG...?

Turns me off already. And the fact that it's nothing more than Tetsuya Nomura's dress up column for those 30 hrs isn't making it appealing.

I think I'll wait until FFXII...
