OOC: That was great, nothing like royal retribution to make you feel good in the morning...
|
"I've been alive for 360 years, of which 250 have been spent in service as one of the Ethereal caste. Yes, I have. I personally think that while they do have a good idea, having no mind to back it up is wasted. And you might wanna' go get ready for tommorrow. We've got a couple hundred miles to get done."

Sirach walked out of his corner and checked his bow, since he had little on him he didn't worry about being robbed. He looked at everyone getting ready to leave and waited for them to go first, for he preferred the back of the line "I wonder where we will be traveling first" he muttered.

OOC: We are past the meeting now, please post your preperations...
IC: The High King watched them go. "Do they have a chance of success." The King sighed. "I don't know. We should return to Ulthar." "But...sir....just abandon them?" "We aren't abandoning them, it's a one day's march to return. And besides...a wild card rests within their ranks." *** Kal leaned his staff on the wall, and took the sword off, followed by the cloak. Great. A stuck up egotistical bastard was now the Grand Theogenist. And Kal'd thought he'd been branded as a radical BEFORE. He sighed, stretched his shoulders and vaguely wondered, I want to go with Team Suicide why? Oh right...it was that or hang with the new GT. |
OOC: This isn't going to end up like Soldiers of Light, or Axiom, is it?
IC: Zorha had already checked all of his things, and was now walking around, just because he was bored. |
Sirach double checked all the supplys in his bag, besides a missing apple everything was there. He then held his bow ready and stood at the back of the party. He stared at everyone and examined them, but still said nothing.

<Huh. I kinda expected more...> Johan quietly left and went to find an inn to stay for the night.
When he found one, he walked up to the receptionist and said, "I'll have the finest suite you have to offer." Without looking up, she replied, "I'm sorry but someone has already reserved that room." She looked up. "Your highness! Oh, I'm so sorry! Right this way!" While she was leading him to the room, Johan laughed to himself. <Gets 'em every time.> OOC: In other words, he made an illusion to make himself look like the king. |
Argriv quickly checked his poisons. Three sets of vials sat in the case. One, he knew, would knock out the opponent, one would quickly kill. The last was the most vile. It wouldn't kill, at least not for many weeks, and would cause the person infected excrusiating pain. He knew an easy antidote, of course, and often found this poison useful for interogations. He examined his blades, swong the sword about, allowing the his arms to get use to its balance, then shiethed it again. He packed his rations, and other belongings, made shore his quiver was full of bolts for the small crossbow he carried. A mortar and pestle went in, for the making of more poisons, and he made sure his arsen's kit and and disguise kit were both fully stocked. He put on his mail. He was ready.

Yuniko crossed her arms, talking to herself "They probably shouldn't have been so harsh on the pickpocket. I mean, that's the way he gets his food." She shrugged, "Not the most honorable way, but as long as he doesn't steal... from.." She trailed off. She had been getting ready, making sure all of her things were in order and just then she had noticed that one or two of her shurikens were missing, "...Son of a..." She fumed.
She paced through the area, searching for that good-for-nothing theif. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted him, standing by a wall and tending a few wounds in his hands. <That's gotta be the guy.> She marched up to him, then when she approached him, she stuck out her hand, out of her sleeve came a throwing knife, centimeters from his jugular. "I understand you're the theif... now I would recommend returning my possessions NOW..." She narrowed her eyes, nobody stole from her and got away with it, "...and you had better have a damn good for why I shouldn't kill you." (OOC: I know I kinda controlled where Thomas was, but I needed her to do something about the stolen goods. Sorry about that.) Edit OOC: Oh yeah, and i'm supposed to say SS has logged off, so don't expect the story to go anywhere until about 7 pm his time tomorrow. And I would like to make the announcement that I won't really be around this weekend. I'll be visiting my brother at college, I might be able to check every now and then, but I will probably be hanging out with my brother and his friends a lot during that time. |
"Where do we get some real food, and a tankerd of Ale?" James asked. "We're straving." Peter added.
