Fenris stood puzzled, and let out a sharp laugh.
"I was planning on killing all of them, but I like your idea better." Fenris went around the group and walked up behind Ecurt. "I hope you know what you're doing, Ecurt," he whispered into his ear. |
Mauve lifted her head from the rubble. The force of the explosion had thrown her backwards, behind the remnants of the counter. Normally, it would have hurt. Really badly. She grinned and spat out plaster dust.
"You're right," she said. "My MP was pretty low. But I do what I can." She bent her arm, showing that her shoulder had healed. In fact, it became apparent as she stood that the mage was completely unharmed, if somewhat dusty. "Lucky for me I cast that Elemental Absorb, hmm?" The spell had the power to convert elemental attacks into, basically, white magic. The fire from the explosion, then, had been used to heal her body and refill her magic reserves. She actually felt better AFTER getting thrown across the room via deadly explosion than before it. But now she had a new problem. It looked like Raiden was finished throwing things, and was ready to move into the "pummel enemy with fists" portion of the fight. Hmm. That could pose a large problem. But, on the plus side, she knew that he wasn't fireproof. "Combust!" she yelled, pointing at the god. She still had a few tricks up her sleeve, but now wasn't the time to use them. Flames enveloped the god, seemingly coming from within his own body. Mauve knew it wouldn't kill him, but it might slow him down a little. "Why are you doing this, Raiden?" she pressed. "We were your friends. I thought you liked it here. Why are you turning on us like this?" |
They were moving erraticly on a path towards raiden when garud freaked out, first thing they noticed was how strange he looked the second thing was more frightening. The super star, intended to help Garud fight, was spinning to Raiden in front of a massive wall of ice shrapnel. Blue took off to try to stop it while red and purple continued their attack. Green angrily stomped over to the transformed Garud and thwacked him. "YOU CRAZY SON OF A BITCH YOU'RE GONNA MAKE RAIDEN MORE INVINCIBLE!!!!"
|
(OOC: Sorry Premonitions. Didn't realise. What is a shuriken supposed to do? Never would have thought it would make me invincible)
Invincible? That gives me an idea. Garud flagged blue down. Putting his wings to good use, the demonslayer charged, and intercepted the trinket, reversing the chaos shot spell so he could get the full effect. "PREMONITIONS, PLEASE WARN ME WHEN YOU DO THAT!" An evil grin produced on the horrific face of Garud. Invicibility engulfed him as the ice headed further toward Raiden. Premonitions felt a thought enter his head. <Thanks buddy, for the invincibility. Didn't mean to be so rude. I just get very emotional at times.> Garud again took wing, flying toward his foe, staff raised, Blasting Zone spell charging up. |
OOC: hey, my mistake for saying he threw it like a shuriken..
A new voice entered his head. Well it was in good company. red, blue green and purple positioned themselves, their plan involved an explosion of course but a good one, plus this plan was an old favorite. They waited to see what garud was going to do. But they waited farrrr away to avoid any magic randomness. |
Raiden looked at his student for a moment. A bit of sadness tinged on the edge of his glowing eyes. Then, his eyes glowed bright and solid.
"You should know the answer to that, my apprentice." The entire room began to waiver with electric auras. Large beams of electricity that seemed to shape into the heads of dragons wavered behind him. Creatures made entirely of electricity were roaming about the room, keeping an eye on Twiddy. ************************************************** ********* Raiden looked into Mesden's eyes. Though he had no pupils since what consisted of eyes on his body was really just energy in eye sockets, she could tell quite easily he was looking right at her. "You want a reason. Just one?" His mouth clamped itself shut. It seemed for a moment that he was fighting at his body, trying to force himself to speak out words. However, no words would come. Finally his mouth opened again with a sigh. "Even just one reason is something I cannot do quite yet. However, I feel a presence coming. It's someone who should be able to shed some light on this fiasco. If we wait, he'll arrive soon enough." "I noticed, but still Raiden. If you can not produce a reason right now, then did you ever have a reason? Just damn it Raiden." Raiden looked down. "I have my reasons. They're just complicated. I'm a planner, remember? I make plans. I stay one step ahead of the enemy. Such as these puppets. They have upset everyone quite a bit. But for all it's worth, they have slowed you all down enough. I'm just now breaking through the barrier containing the Mashirosen. It will take me a bit longer to get through, but it's not likely that any of you would stop me. So you can kill this puppet, spend time finding your way out of his little reality we've altered so heavily, and end up being able to see me escape. Or, we can wait, and see the One coming." ************************************************** ******* Raiden watched his blade pierce Darth's body. The Thunder God squatted down, getting more level with Darth as he laid down. "Come on, Gladiator. Is this what happens when your mind tricks are taken away? You're getting your ass handed back to you by a WEAKENED Thunder God! Not just the limits we put on both of ourselves, but the simple fact that I'm a puppet means that it shouldn't be this hard for you." ************************************************** ******* The God-Raging Thunder God took the hit from Pyros, and returned with his own, sending an electrified fist into the face of the pretty boy Fire Angel. As the Fire Angel was flung away, Raiden quickly sent two thick bolts of lightning flying at him. During flight, the bolts of lightning grew dragon heads with solidified fangs, and each bit down hard onto an arm of Pyros. ************************************************** ******* The ice shrapnel flew forward toward the Raiden standing on top of the corpses. They struck the figure...then carried right through. The form wavered slightly as the ice shards passed through the illusion. However, a small form had leapt from a dark corner where he had been hidden, and grabbed the super star. "No, Garud, I don't think the problem is that I've underestimated you. I think the problem is that I gave you no real reason to feel fear of me." The super star absorbed into Raiden's body, making it glow in strange colors and make a strange song fill the air. "Trust me, you will know fear. You both will." ************************************************** ******* Raiden looked at Ecurt and Fenris. "Of course they are. They're here because they're unwanted. I'm simply cleaning up the trash. Plus, it gave me a bit of time to open my own portal." A new portal opened behind Raiden. This time, strange electric tigers and fiery birds launched themselves from the portal. "These are the creatures that will handle you." ************************************************** ******* Raiden's body started aflame from Mauve's combustion spell, but he continued to walk forward. His regenerative abilities kept him going, though his skin looked horrific now. "You know, so many people have asked me that same question. Why? Why am I doing this? You want to know something? I HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE!" His fist went through a nearby pillar. "I have my reasons for doing this, and you're in my way!" His fist rushed out and grabbed Mauve by her neck. He lifted her up, and slammed her against a wall. Glowing blood dribbled down his lips as his teeth were gritted. "Dammit, Mauve! Attack to end! I can't stop once I've started!" ************************************************** ******* Dragonsbane made his way through the silent tunnel, only to find himself in a strange area. It was large and expansive. It was night time. The darkness and the three moons hanging above them gave it away. A cool wind could be felt. Standing all alone in the room was Raiden. "Dragonsbane. What little pocket of unwanted void did YOU crawl out of?" ************************************************** ******* As POS and Arhra made their way through the altered tower, they noticed strange sounds coming from every which way. Any time they walked down a tunnel, they seemed to end up right back where they started, as if they hadn't gone anywhere at all. |
"DAMMIT RAIDEN! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO GET OUR DAMNED DAD INVOLVED! YOU BASTARD!"
She launched a kick into the stomach of the puppet. The impact sent him flying into a nearby wall. His bones cracked from the impact and moving had been a problem. He slowly regenerated the damage, but before he could speak to prepare himself, Mesden was already upon him. She lifted him by the throat, grasping tightly to make sure no words could escape. "TOO COMPLICATED! DAMMIT RAIDEN! YOU DON'T WANT ME AS AN ENEMY! WHY THE FUCK CAN'T YOU JUST TELL ME!? ALL I ASK IS ONE THING! ONE CREATOR DAMNED THING AND YOU CAN'T SEEM TO TELL ME EVEN ONE REASON FOR WHY YOU ARE FUCKING UP SO DAMNED BADLY!" She turned and smashed his back into the ground, still holding him by the throat. Her other arm dove into his chest and grasped the gem. The tight clench would've made him scream in agony were he not being choked. "I NEVER WANTED TO FIGHT YOU! NEVER! YET YOU CAN'T GET PAST WHATEVER EGOTISTICAL REASONS YOU HAVE TO JUST TELL ME! I NEVER ASKED YOU FOR ANYTHING! EVER! I ASKED ONE THING, ONE SIMPLE DAMNED THING AND YOU PULL OUT THE LAMEST EXCUSE I COULD IMAGINE." She threw him back into another wall. He started to slowly regenerate the damage, but still too slow. She was punching air in the direction of Raiden. Each punch made a resounding shockwave come from Raiden's body. Every shot made him keel over. She drew nearer with every assault on the former challenge until she was actually punching him. For each punch there were two senses of pain. One physically and the other spiritually. The real Raiden hadn't ever felt anything like this before. Her hands slowly started to gain their glow as she punched him. Then, after several dozen punches, she drove her hand into his chest again. "I'LL FUCKING RIP THE ANSWERS FROM YOUR SOUL IF I HAVE TO, RAIDEN!" Her eyes formed into her soul search form. Scanning into the grasped shard of a gem, searching for answers. Raiden, still in enormous pain and near death, spoke what words he could to drive Mesden off of him. He was successful in preventing her search of his gem, but not much else. "WHY DO YOU KEEP THESE SECRETS!? WHY!? DAMMIT!" She threw him to the ground and motioned her hand into the air. With sprawling lights and colors the area was engulfed in her realm again. She formed a sitting area out of nothing and sat down to stare at the shell of the puppet. It was nearly dead, but now was slowly regenerating what damage it could. She sat with a cold stare, seemingly waiting for something or someone... |
Mauve's wild card was lost as soon as Raiden's fingers wrapped around her neck. She had been waiting for the opportune moment, but she was too slow to catch it before he caught her. An explosion of expletives filled her mind as she was slammed forcefully into the charred wall. Gone. The moment was gone.
Instinctively her hands flew up to his, clawing uselessly against his blackened flesh. Her mouth opened, but no words could come out. His hand clenched tighter, and panic began to set in. She couldn't breathe! She was going to die! No! Don't panic! She struggled to keep control of her mind. But what could she do? Spellcasting was somewhat out of the question at the moment: Although she could form the spells in her mind, it took the verbal cue to put them into action. No breath meant no speech. The sounds of rushing blood and beating heart filled her ears. She thrashed with her legs, but Raiden was holding her far enough away that she couldn't kick him. Not that it would have done any good. There was only one more option. Her hands left Raiden's fist and went to her remaining knife. As quickly as she could, she buried the point into Raiden's arm, just behind the wrist. Gritting her teeth, she yanked the blade down with all her strength. Tendons snapped. Muscles were severed. All the stringy bits that made fingers move were broken. Raiden was momentarily unable to control his hand, and Mauve fell heavily to the ground as his fingers released her neck. She wanted to just lay there for a moment and catch her breath, but she knew better. Coughing and gasping and rubbing her throat, the mage rolled away and pushed herself to her feet. Mauve extended a hand towards the crispy and bleeding puppet. He continued to lurch forward. She had to stop him. She had to kill him. Part of her felt terrible about this: It wasn't really Raiden, but it was wearing his face. She almost felt like a traitor. "I'm sorry," she said. "I'm sorry I'm in your way. But you're also in mine." And with that, the mage let out fire spell after fire spell, hoping it would do something. |
RFS: 50
Rhiya was bothered. She glared at Raiden with the sort of gaze that could match the heat of a supernova core, before breaking into a small, tight smile. She stepped purposefully to one side now, her hands slowly swinging up. She cracked each individual knuckle, clicked a couple of neck vertebrae, before rushing forward. And stopped. The reason for this was obvious. There was a falling die in her path – it was the sort of die that was glowing and had all sorts of weird stuff crossing its surface. It was also a d20. “Oh shiiiiiiiiit…..” Rhiya cursed as the die bounced upon the ground, each arc becoming smaller. Everything slowed down around her and the die, until finally… *** Rhiya Ravenwing rolled 1 20-sided die: 19*** Rhiya breathed again, then continued the charge towards Raiden… only he wasn’t where she last saw him, and the woman barely survived by ducking under the heavy-handed swing that sliced over where her torso used to be. Rhiya kept charging, running up the wall and onto the ceiling, using her wing tendrils as grip pads. She did NOT want to get in Raiden or Krylo’s way as of now. But an idea was slowly forming up in her mind…. |
OOC: Hmm, these actions force a certain review of my intended plan.
It was at about this time, that POS discovered Arhra wasn't actually awake. She was standing up and her eyes were open, but there was no sign there was anyone home. This was perplexing. After all, it meant that Arhra had not only been sleep-walking, but also sleep-running, sleep-yelling and sleep-summoning. An insight might be gained by taking a look at Arhra's dreams at the time. Thus, here is Arhra Dream Theatre, part 2. Arhra held her staff out in front of her in a warding position as she approached the sheep. Raiden's eyes glowed menacingly and with a sudden spark, a lightning bolt leapt from the ram's horns. Arhra deflected it harmlessly to the side with her staff and then seeing his reserves temporarily emptied, leapt into the fray with a flying kick. And so began what was quite possibly the battle of the century - Chibi Arhra vs an electric sheep. With the devastating flying kick Arhra had opened with, things were looking in her favour. Raiden had taken the kick in his fleecy side, knocking him down and sending him skidding a surprising distance. Arhra was only a girl here after all. The vague rules of dreams often had strange results. At that moment, Arhra was sure she heard something, something about bacon. Shrugging it off as probably just her imagination, she blinked. In the real world, POS had just made his attempt at rousing Arhra, "Yo, Usagi-chan! Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey!!" Despite the appearance of her waking up, her body had been operating completely on automatic at the promise of bacon. In much the same way a trained soldier might find himself upright and halfway dressed before he even came fully awake when the seargent came to yell the troops out of bed, Arhra actually began summoning, possibly resulting from confusion between thinking she was under attack and her preference for crispy bacon. Whatever the reason, Ifrit appeared and laid his trademark fiery smackdown on the office. Arhra, still probably under the allure of the bacon (practically a food group on its own) even yelled "I'm up! I'm up! Where's my bacon?" as she ran down the tunnel after POS. She was quite skilled at somnambulating it seemed. As they slowed down, she blinked. The sheep rose to it's feet and charged at Arhra in a cavalcade of thunderclaps, horns lowered and glinting dangerously. Arhra rolled ott he side, vanishing in the high grass and the ram snorted as he looked around for where the summoner girl had disappeared to. Then Raiden evidently decided to use a more effective method. Lightning crackled off his white wool, making a dome of electric death that scorched the grasses. Blinding arcs of lightning danced a destructive path within it, jumping from place to place in a spectacle of shocking sparks. In the aftermath Raiden walked to a particularly large scorched hump of blackened grass in the charred circle of ground around him. About to prod it with his horns, a hand shot out and grabbed him by his wooly throat. A split second later Arhra's head followed as she nutted the sheep. Jumping back again, Arhra was a little singed looking but otherwise fine. It could be argued it made her look even more cute in a chibi way. A mischevious smile playing over her face she said, "You didn't think I'd be done with that easily did you?" Meanwhile in the real world, Arhra seemed to be content with dreamily following POS around for now. Her eyes were vacant and unfocused but she seemed to have a slight smile on her face, as if she was having a particularly enjoyable dream. Which was exactly the case. OOC: And cliffhanger the second. Poor POS left effectively on his own. Someone up there must hate him. Arhra's still busily fighting a dream sheep. You don't see that every day. |
"Well...shit." Forum trash was one thing. Tigers with lightning bolts shooting their asses and chickens that Kentucky fried you were a whole different matter entirely.
Normally, Ecurt would have summoned plushies to explode in the faces of their enemy. However, considering how crowded this room was and how powerful the bombs would have to be to do any significant damage to them he would probably get caught in the blast himself, and while that's never stopped him before he also had another thing he had to consider: Fenris. Besides, at the rate Raiden was summoning up minions, it would only be a matter of time before they would be overwhelmed. Taking one last moment to look around before making his decision, Ecurt took a deep breath. "You know what, screw this." And, with that, he threw his new swords into Rhiya's pants, grabbed Fenris' hand, and ran out of the room and back into the tunnel. Of course, he left behind a couple presents. The first was Gleipnir, though that was him being more forgetful than generous, and the second one was a small box, labled "Pandora's Haxxors." |
Raiden's damn smug grin came back, and he said one simple phrase.
"However...you're just you. In what world could you ever hope to stand against me? How could you have hoped to match a god's skill with a blade?" Darth exhaled heavily, trying to keep his voice from quivering. It didn't work well. "You're right...I haven't practiced since christmas...I can't hope to match your skill with a blade." A ? appeared above Raiden's head momentarily. Then something totally unexpected happened. Darth grabbed the hilt of the sword and pulled himself up it far faster than Raiden would've thought possible. Then Darth's fist met Raiden's face, smashing him flat on his back. Unsteadily, Darth rose and walked towards Raiden. Without his immortality, the god suddenly found himself with loose teeth, a broken nose, and the world swimming around him. It wasn't going away either. With a hiss, Darth pulled Raiden's sword out of himself, then looked at the down god. Then he slammed it down right through Raiden's thigh, pinning him onto the ground. Still shaky, he drew his Jericho. "But...you can't! You've agreed to our duel!" "I'm not a god-" Darth had to take a moment to gasp. The sword probably hadn't done that much damage, but pulling himself up it had. "-I'm not the definition of honor. I'm not the scale that people judge their qualities against. I'm just a lowly human, ergo, I cheat." He shot Raiden in the kneecap, removing any chance of him running away. "But...if you wish...I can kill you...with my...hands..." Raiden took the chance to try to punch the now kneeling Darth. His combat knife came up, and Raiden's fist impaled itself on it. He screamed. Darth took a page from the book of Dante, the former NPFer. Namely, his rendition of Devin killing his last nemesis during Cyber Wars. Darth took hold of Raiden's calf. "For the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish-" Raiden's eyes widened as Darth planted his foot on the knee, and a second later, an inhuman shriek rent the air. "- and the tyranny of evil men." He moved over to the other leg. "Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will-" A similar procedure ensued, punctuated by Raiden's hellish scream. "-shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness." Darth stood, and positioned himself over Raiden's torso. His boot went up... and came down with a sickening crunch. "For he is truly-" crunch "-his brother's keeper-" crunch "-and the finder-" crunch "-of lost children." crunch He looked down at Raiden, eyes glazed over from the incredible pain, hands nerveless at his sides, mouth half-open. How could a human, a mere mortal, have defeated the incarnation of a god's skill? How could this puny being who would cease to exist in a short 50 years be doing this? Darth shrugged. Then, in a single fluid motion, he retrieved his combat dagger, stabbed it down into Raiden's bicep, and drew it down, saw-edge first. As the hapless god forced a scream out through a throat gone raw, Darth gazed into his eyes, as though Raiden were his lover, and hissed softly, "And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance-" -here he twisted the blade, eliciting a strangled cry from the maimed god- "-and furious anger-" Darth seized Raiden's jaw in his free hand and crushed, feeling the cartliage and bone snap and pop under his super-human grip. "-those who attempt to poison, and destroy- The bone shattered, and Raiden convulsed in mindless agony. "-my brothers." A listless Raiden looked at Darth, his mind unable to even comprehend the pain that mortals could endure. Darth himself was trembling from exertion and blood loss. But Raiden...he was beyond trembling. The god that he was now existed in a state of horror. Humans were below him, right? He could handle anything they could, right? It would appear he was wrong, as he now found himself experiencing the suffering that thousands of mortals endured every day. Darth was slightly woozy. "Now for the grand finale. Minor variations of course." The sounds coming from Raiden's ruined mouth had changed. He seemed to be repeating two sounds - they sounded like knggghllll nghhhhh... Kill me... Calmly, Darth stepped over to Raiden body and used his foot to knock it upwards. Then he placed one forearm across his destroyed jaw, eliciting a flinch. The other got a grip on the back of his head. "And you will know I am not a Lord..." Darth twisted. Raiden's neck snapped almost effortlessly under Darth's grip. But the god wouldn't be dead just yet. He kept twisting, and Raiden soon found himself staring into Darth's eyes. They were cold, and full of rage. "...when I lay my vengeance upon you." Darth kept twisting, and actually broke Raiden's head clean off. Full of rage, he threw it as hard as he could across the room, trying to toss aside that symbol of the friend that had betrayed him. Slowly, he wobbled away from the destroyed vessel. He lifted his hand, and his lightsaber returned. He placed it back in his arm. The blood loss from a blade right through his digestive tract, possibly nicking his lung, finally caught up to him. "Good night NPF." Darth passed out, falling to the ground. He hoped his automatic heal would kick in. He didn't know. On the other side of the room, a door opened. The crowd's cheering and applause went wild... |
Pedro could only assume the worst.
Limping down the Mashirosen basement corridor, duffel bag on his back, briefcase in his right hand, and Arhra trailing merrily behind him, he could only keep his attention on surviving the next five minutes or so. Raiden or not, the thing behind them was no doubt infuriated by this turn of events. POS had wasted his only real offensive capability, and it worked at least as well as he had intended, but that time was over. Fight or flight was now fully in effect, and alone he only had the latter as an option. But he wasn't alone! POS stopped, tears welling in his eyes from the pain caused by his hurt ankle, and turned to face Arhra. "Okay, you, um.... Sailor Girl," Pedro suddenly realized that he didn't know her name, "That Raiden guy. It's not really him, I don't think, but he's still pretty tough and..." Something wasn't right. He looked Arhra in the eyes and she swayed listlessly back and forth, a contented smile plastering her face, and saw that they were looking somewhere in the range of a million miles away. Before he had a chance to say anything, Arhra mumbled, "I've got you now..." and fell forward into Pedro's arms, who did his best to catch her before she cracked her head open on the concrete floor. "I... but... you... and... he's... GAH!!" POS stammered, staring in disbelief at the slumbering girl. His mind raced. Had she been sleepwalking the entire time? She summoned an entire freaking fire.... guy! Some sort of instinctual reflexive thing triggered by... I don't even know. Crudwafers! Now what? Granted, Arhra's brief impersonation of a living, breathing person had very effectively saved them both in the short term, but the long term just got a lot harder. Concluding that the Raiden puppet was just about strong enough to kill him, POS had been counting on her to use her summoning powers to destroy it. The "shoot him and run out the window" plan was just to bridge the gap. They had to keep moving. There was a good chance that puppet was up, about, and ready to tear him limb from limb, and Arhra's apparent narcolepsy was not making things any easier. He could leave her, of course. Raiden would find her and either kill her or wake her up and be killed by her. Either way, it would surely slow him down. On the other hand, if he killed her first, then he'd just go back to hunting POS, who would now have no means whatsoever to fight back. No, she had to come with... And so he quickly set to work, opening up the duffel bag and dumping out all the "liberated" snacks and magazines from his previous "shopping" excursions, sliding them across the floor to the side of the hallway. He then proceeded to open up the two magically manifested briefcases and dump the vast fortunes within into the empty duffel bag and tossed the now empty briefcases aside to the discarded pile of snacks. Slinging the lighter bag full of money over his shoulder, he scooped the resting Arhra into his arms and continued limping down the corridor, tears still welling in his eyes from the pain. ************************************************** After several minutes of running, POS was starting to become annoyed. He knew this building like the back of his hand, but no matter where he went, it felt like he wasn't getting anywhere. In fact, he still seemed to be in Basement Level 1, Section 14-Gamma. That couldn't even be possible. One of the operations terminal stations had to be just over.... Then he noticed something that hadn't caught his eye through the pain and adrenaline. To his right, against the wall, there laid a pile of snacktreats, dirty magazines, and two empty briefcases. POS sighed to no one in particular, "Could somebody please show me the back of my hand...?" |
About halfway through Mesden's beating, Raiden had quit fighting back and simply concentrated on keeping her out of his soul. It couldn't last much longer. Then again, there was no need. The original was merely minutes away from getting what he had come for.
Raiden's mouth was one of the first things to heal. When he moved his lips, words came out softly. However, they weren't solidified runes. Just words to an old rhyme. "He's got the whole world in his hands. He's got the whole wide world in his hands. He's got you and me and brother in his hands. He's got the whole world in his hands." ************************************************** ******** As Mauve cast her fire spells, Raiden continued to come toward her. The fire spells exploded against his body, making his skin burn and char. A sick smell of burning flesh filled the air. A fire spell erupted on his upper body, incinerating his left shoulder and making his arm drop. "Mauve." A fire spell manifested itself in his gut, burning through his stomach and leaving a wide gaping hole in his torso. "Mauve!" A spell surrounded his legs, burning his lower legs to ash and leaving his upper legs pockmarked. He dropped to the ground as his legs left him, and he began to crawl forward with his one working arm. "MAUVE!" His arm reached out and clung to the bottom of her cloak. One final fire spell set his entire body aflame. And after so much damage had been done, he couldn't escape it. His white hair lit up, the skin looked like a piece of meat burned on the grill, and the glowing energy seemed to leave his eyes. When the flames got to the fat in his body, it did nothing but stoke the fire even more. Without his full regenerative abilities, Raiden's body had its limits. And they were just hit. With what seemed like a sigh, Raiden's fist kept its tight hold on her cloak, even when his mind stopped functioning, and this Raiden died. ************************************************** ******** Raiden whistled. The supposedly 'dead' Raiju lifted its head from where it was resting. The creature turned from the weasel to the large cat form. It started sniffing at the Pandora box. "What'd you find, Raiju?" |
OOC: since both garud and Raiden claimed to get the star I figured I'd eliminate cofusion a bit
IC:Red was hiding away in a corner steadily supplying his sword with high number force gems, soon The Four Sword would be at it's full power and have all of it's abilities, namely the power to break magical barriers like the one given to raiden by the super star, but they wanted the big one, the power to repel evil. That would give them some insight about Raiden. Green and purple were fully focused on keeping raiden busy they moved to attack even though they knew it was pointless, both got way too close and tried to stab Raiden with beam swords, the four sword was far too valuable to risk breaking it. Blue paired with Garud and gave him his star, this new monster would need it, something was'nt right about Raiden. As Green amd purple futily slashed at raidens glowing hide, the four swords at their waists glowed with a bright golden light... |
The Wizard looked around at the rather electrical display around him. You have got to love when your opponent plays into your hands. The dragons stared at the Wizard, and the Wizard stared right back. The first lesson about magic is creating life. When you create life, such as a mass group of plants, the spell will change the environment to a limited degree. The environment will became better able to support that being grown or made. Such as creating a more humid environment when growing plants. Another detail was that, in the face of massive quantities of opposing elements, magic seemed to stabilize itself to deal with the problem. This stabilization generally occurred at the expense of the area around it. In summery, the area was now humid, and mixing alternate elements made a big non-elemental explosion. Of magic. Which is what the Wizard’s natural resistance defended against, and what the puppet had little defense against. I am totally not spelling out what is about to occur here.
Charon is going to be my biggest concern here. I can take what is about to occur, but I have not learned yet what Charon can take. The puppy was laying there, alert, but at the same time relaxed. His gentle breathing made the shadows, caused by the relatively large ball of energy, play on his short black snout. The Wizard now had a large aura of dark blue energy around him, and he raised his hand toward the Puppet. With a grin, the energy expanded into the world around him, creating and forcing water after the electrical beings around him. He quickly moved his hands up to entrap Charon in his arms. His wings wrapped around his body, protecting the dog from outside dangers. The electrical beings were pushed toward the walls. The water swirled around like a vortex, mixing with the electric particles. A bright light illuminated the area from the walls, and the Wizard held his dog tightly, as the world exploded around him. |
Dragonsbane made his way through the silent tunnel, only to find himself in a strange area. It was large and expansive. It was night time. The darkness and the three moons hanging above them gave it away. A cool wind could be felt. Standing all alone in the room was Raiden.
"Dragonsbane. What little pocket of unwanted void did YOU crawl out of?" "A fascinating question. Technically speaking, a place can only be void if it contains no matter, and as I am clearly composed of matter, I could not therefore have come FROM a void, merely traversed it in the form of energy." Dragonsbane chided, as if speaking to a small and unruly child who had just asked a foolish question. "This is it?" his tone indicated he meant far more than the room, his eyes piercing the doll's form as if it wasn't even there, instead studying the magical makeup of the construct, "How entertaining, a simulacra with tactically destructive abilities! I might end up enjoying myself after all." he chuckled, then waved a hand dismissively, "Whatever, child, I'll allow you to make the first move." |
The door was locked. IC noticed DB passing by but he ignored him and DB seem to do the same. He looked up an realized they all had names over each other. "Don't see mine anywhere. Guess its time for plan b." Inbred said to no one as he stepped outside.
He looked up at the tower, which still loomed quite tall. "Guess I better get started if I am going to do this." He continued talking to himself, life he didn't care. He pulled out a couple hooks, walked over to the side of the tower, and started the climb up. |
Mauve stared blankly down at the smouldering body at her feet. She felt numb.
Had she been more of the "action hero" type, she might have given some kind of corny victory line at this point. Something along the lines of "Guess I roasted HIS coffee beans!" or something similarly lame. But she wasn't an action heroine. "Raiden?" she called tentatively. There was no reply. She sank slowly to her knees, keeping a wary eye on the body, just in case. "Raiden?" He was dead, a voice in her head noted with absolute certainty. This Raiden was no more. He had ceased to be. He was an ex-Raiden. Carefully she pried the blackened hand from her skirt. Parts of his skin crumbled and flaked away as soon as she touched him. He had been burned to death, and then some. Oh, great. Now she was going to feel guilty for getting carried away with the fire spells. She should feel good about this. She had been all alone with a super-strong Raiden clone, and she survived it. Not only survived, but kicked ass! Well, sorta. Okay, she kicked very little ass in the grand scheme of things. But still, it was a mage versus god battle, and the mage came out on top. It was like putting Vivi against Sephiroth-on-steroids and winning! She really didn't feel like celebrating right now, though. Her throat ached; she imagined it was probably red and starting to bruise right now. Her MP was at the half-full mark, and her adrenaline rush was wearing away, leaving her feeling tired. And to top it off, she couldn't supress the thought that she had just torched and murdered an extention of the God of Thunder. Her friend. "Forget it," she found herself saying harshly to the pile of ashes. "I don't have time to sit around with an ash tray." She pushed herself up and brushed off her skirt. Now all she had to do was get out of this fake coffee shop and back to the tower. She would definately have PLENTY to say to Raiden now. |
She lifted her hand to stare at the singing Raiden. The body was far more mangled then she thought it was. Tera and indentions. Like he was hit by a meteor storm.
She stepped up and walked over to the still singing Raiden. His voice slightly haunting. He could now stand up and looked down at Mesden. Staring with the still soft light of her world. "Your pathetic. Look at you. The greatest God around, huh? You remember saying that, right? Everyone loved you. I could see it too. You were like a treasure. What are you now? A piece of rust? And you are now bringing your and my dad into this? What the hell is wrong with you? You are like some little kid. You threw away everything for what? It had better be something good to becuase He is able to take you down with a gesture. Sing your erie song and know your iminent demise. YOu sick bastard." She stood there for a few following seconds. The Raiden had ceased his erie singing and just stared at her. He lifted his hand a bit as if he were going to say something, but decided against it at last thought. "I'm sorry, Mes. I have to do this. Understanding is something you will know when I have accomplished this. And no, not even He can stop me at this point. If it makes you feel any better, you are a lot better at fighting than I remember." She scoffed at his remark a bit and turned away from him. On her way back to her throne of color and light she blurted, "You haven't seen anything yet Raiden. I am saving that for when we get our REAL fight. Not some suped up rip off of you with one power that you considered almighty and yet I beat it without much strain in all seriousness. Watch out Raiden, wherever the hell you are, because you couldn't have ever felt what your clone has felt before. That was a joke of a beating compared to what you will get." |
<Thanks for the new star buddy. Now, time to put this invicibility to use>
Garud launched the beam toward Raiden, who was distracted by the slashing. However, by instinct, the Thunder God seemed to become transparent, and the beam went right through him. "DAMMIT!" The demon slayer jetted up the pile, and Raiden turned to face him. The two looked like they were going to have a stare off before the creature lunged. However, again utilising his abilities to become illusion, Raiden disappeared, and circled behind Garud. There, He got his former companion in a vicegrip bearhug, trying to choke the life out of him. The invincibility could only do so much. "Pathetic. You are barely worth my time. From the first day I laid eyes on you, I knew you were beneath me. Now you will fear me! For I will be your end." As Garud struggled, he recalled a memory. One of the first of NPF. +++ A lone person, teenager looking descended in the elevator. Level B, Roleplaying. The demon slayer stepped out, the wind fresh in his hair. It was like he was called here. Walking through the grass, he found his way to a computer. It had a sign that said: Create RP "I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?" The voice came from a man, imensely strong, white glowing hair, an electric aura surrounding him. "Yeah. I'm Garud." "The quiet type eh? Well, My name's Raiden! It's a pleasure." "Likewise." The man chuckled. "We're going to get along just fine here. Welcome to NPF. Anyway, what do you do for a living?" +++ Garud tried to hit his way out, but there was no use. Raiden was much stronger than he was. But there was one thing that needed to be done. <Premonitions, Whatever you have planned, do it now!> "Y'know Raiden. I don't know what happened to you, but I know this cannot be the real you. It just cannot be! You were so much nicer, and now this? Whatever the case may be though, you will be defeated! Even if it's at the loss of me! |
In her dream, Arhra was posing in a victorious stance atop a hog-tied and thoroughly beat up Raiden-sheep. She mused as she stepped back down and looked out over the golden fields. Her sleep had actually served a duality of purposes. The first purpose was the obvious one - to rest and recuperate. But this dream was not entirely happenstance. It was an enormous trap.
By the way Raiden had attempted to split up the NPFers and yet had apparently been there to face Arhra and POS when it was obvious there were others who he considered a bigger threat, it was obvious that there was some trick at work. Some sort of delaying action was going on. Thus Arhra surmised some manner of multiplicity was what Raiden had done, especially since she had seemed to be picking up some fragments of Ecurt's speech from the cat ears and he was also battling a Raiden. Given this, she decided it was likely Raiden would attempt to demoralise her and if she was asleep, entering her dream seemed an obvious choice. But the most important part of this occuring would be that it was Arhra's dream. She would rule there. She wasn't some weak-minded fool to be chased and intimidated in her own mind. Instead, the hunter would have found himself to be the prey. Now however, it seemed Raiden had not taken the bait. She sighed and then sighted a glint off in the direction the sheep Raiden had come from. She smiled. If her prey wouldn't come to her, she would go to him. It was time to pierce the veils that sought to hinder them. The glint she had seen, she ran towards, pausing with an odd smile on her face when she reached it. In front of her was the Mashirosen. Of course, it was a dream of the Mashirosen. But Arhra intended to prove once and for all that she could out-scheme Raiden in her sleep. She assumed the summoning stance, pulling upon her power and a massive mandala appeared around her, increasing in size and further out as her spell took shape. At the center of the great wheel of elaborate patterns that radiated around her she smiled as she completed the summon spell. She summoned reality. Back in the tower, Arhra suddenly stirred. POS almost fell as she suddenly seemed to wake but managed to avoid dropping her as she slid out of his grasp and stood upright. She was still asleep. It was also alarming that a complex pattern of lines of magical light was beginning to appear around them. The universe seemed to be very unhappy with them as the air rippled weirdly and the tower around them seemed to blur and run. With an inexplicable sense of distance, a young girl appeared before them, a similiar mandala circling her. She bore an uncanny resemblance to Arhra. The adult Arhra, reached out with one hand, the other gripped very tightly around POS's wrist. The girl reached out too, some force resisting their approach, they inched closer and then, with one final montion, their fingers touched. The patterns merged into one. There was a dazzling burst of white and then Arhra and POs found themselves elsewhere. Arhra had probably torn space-time a new one, but she had done it. They stood right in front of the Mashirosen, at the very heart of the tower. OOC: And presumably the real Raiden is nearby. |
Despite all my rage....
POS sat in the darkened corridor, sipping on one of his previously discarded bottles of Cherry Coke. It was warm now. He hated warm soda. The sugar made his teeth feel weird, like he could feel them being corroded. The wearing away of his being, on whatever level, was something that he chose to ignore. His favorite liquid refreshment reminding him was the last thing he needed.
Arhra was sleeping soundly next to him. He set her down shortly after he had given up running. Raiden's ability to affect reality was more than apparant now. The physics-breaking office that he had occupied a few minutes ago should have been a dead giveaway, but for some reason the notion that he was completely out of his league didn't quite sink in until around the ninth time that he had run past that damn pile of snacks. Good thing the chips were still tasty as ever. He chose to leave the magazines where they were. There was a lady present, after all. Pedro stared at the bottle of warm coke in his hand, his glare so cold that it almost might have refridgerated the beverage itself. Then, in an instant, POS yelled and flung the bottle as hard as he could down the corridor, listening to it fizz as it spilled out onto the concrete. This was enough. He stood up, wincing in pain from his ankle, and limped over to the opposite wall. "You know what?" he growled, leaning against the cold cement wall, "I have had just about enough of this. I'd like to say you've underestimated me, but we both know that's not true. You're a god, and I am the epitomy of the mortal man. But guess what? It's not that simple anymore. You made a good offer back there, by the way. In fact, you may very well have had me join up with you, you dumb fuck, but then you made a dealbreaker." "You lied to me." Pedro couldn't help but laugh. "I asked you what the plan was, and you fed me shit. You did underestimate me, you Mortal Kombat ripoff. You tried to take advantage of the wrong weakness: greed. If you had only fed into my real achilles heel, my curiosity, then I may very well have happily sent this lamb to the slaughter. But you didn't You flashed dollar signs and trumped up garbage of corporate grandeur and that's why you failed. You thought you could reign me in and have me skipping along merrily behind you, saying to myself, 'Lordy, Massa gonna let me live in the house and everthing!' But you missed one very important thing..." "...I am subordinate to no one!" His voiced became surprisingly calm. "So here's the deal, 'Mr. Raiden.' There was only one thing that you asked of me." He turned to face the slumbering Arhra. "You wanted me to kill this girl. Now, you're going to get the opposite. I'm going to protect her. It's not because it's the right thing to do, not because I give two shits about her or because she may or may not be tactically important in the grand fight against you. I'm doing it to piss you off. I will defend her with my life if it means making your life just slightly more miserable, because it will remind you of the one thing that you failed to do...." POS scooped Arhra back up into his arms and looked up at the ceiling. "You failed to control Pedro O'Sullivan. And that's good enough for me." Suddenly, he felt Arhra stir. Before he could open his mouth to ask if she was waking up, he felt another hand grab ahold of his wrist. Looking down, he saw a very familier looking little girl staring back up at him just as the air around them began to swirl violently, and he began to feel the very unique feeling of every molecule in his body being ripped apart. ******************************************* An instant later, he found himself in a very new environment, and used the next half a second to take in his surroundings... The main control room? The Mashirosen core? The girl's waking up? Raiden? My ankle still HURTS?! And despite the last realization, a wide grin crossed Pedro's face, and he acted immediately. "Computer!" he yelled out, "Activate defense subroutine POS114XB-Alpha! Authorization: Ziegfeld-9!" Raiden, the real deal, stopped dead in his tracks, his hand reached halfway through the security forcefield between them, jaw dropping more and more as the two mere mortals appeared before him, then disappearing a moment later in a flash of energy. He stood there a few more seconds in stunned silence as one last bit of realization washed over the god's mind. They had taken the Mashirosen with them. The thunder god let out a loud string of curses far too horrible to be printed here as the fickle hand of fate had turned into a fist right before his eyes. |
NPF Fact: Pyros and Raiden are both bipolar, though not in the same way.
The thunder beast's fangs sunk in, limiting the use of Pyros's arms. Raiden was free for readying up another attack upon Pyros's pretty face, and Proceeded to do so. A vicious explosion hit Pyros's face, and then another . And then, he caught it in his teeth. His own fangs sunk into Raiden's fist, and there was a crunch of bone. Raiden quickly pounded Pyros's stomach to release his fist, and Pyros spat it out.
Pyros's eyes glowed red. And stayed so. Perhaps they weren't at their brightest, but they were red. "Huraaaggh!!" He bellowed, and his aura glowed red hot. The Dragons held on tightly, but as the aura kept growing and growing, they became pained from it. They were forcefully evicted from Pyros's arms as the aura continued to grow, encompassing all of PyrosNine's body, as well as a sizeable circular volume as well. "Flameshield." Pyros muttered underneath the anger that drove him. The wicked thunder came again, but as it did so, the shield part of the aura's name became evident. It was either the scientific explanation that the intense heat sped up the air molecules to the point that it didn't allow electicity to pass, like that one episode of Poke-...nevermind. The other explanation is that was a sphere of Pyros's own magic protecting him. Which many would approve of more, because saying it's "magic" always seems the best solution rather than go indepth. Whatever the reason, Pyros charged raiden, spinning the flaming shield like a hamsterball. Raiden hurled another bolt at the oncoming Pyros, but it merely bounced off and Pyros kept running. The God-Raged Raiden charged up his own defenses, but it was too late. He was slammed into the wall yet again, but this time Pyros kept pushing forward with his shield, crushing him twixt the two. Raiden however built himself up and pried himself free. He concentrated his might and pushed back, sending Pyros back. Pyros managed to rebound off the back wall, and then he went to the ground on his feet. Raiden hurled down another bolt. It was nicely sized, and exploded off the shield with such force to actually jar Pyros. He threw another, and this one caused Pyros to slide backwards. He threw another, and another, and continued to throw them, one after another. Pyros kept the shield up, but every explosion from the bolts moved him. Raiden sped up with this throws, faster and faster, hurling a cloud of the bolts at Pyros. Pyros found himself being shaken violently and even tossed by the amount of blows his shield took, and dodged them when he could to hurl his own fireballs. But Raiden dodged that, and continued with his fast moving bolts. He threw them faster, more widespread, and more at a time. More and more and more, until it was as if there was a sea of thunder in the room to replace the sea of fire. Pyros couldn't dodge this, for there was no way to do so unless one were of the size of an ant. And even then there would be great difficulty. They hit his shield like the rain, and each one pounded him back. He couldn't bring himself forward, and the hail of large bolts drove him and his shield into a corner. His prey stuck, Raiden concentrated the bolts he threw at that corner, whittling at Pyros's shield. Pyros couldn't maintain it, for the ferocity of the stream wore his shield down than his ability to rebuild it. Just as Pyros's shield was about to break, he leapt out of the way only to find Raiden before him. A clash of thunder smashed the shield, and Raiden let loose the barrage again, each bolt finding it's target and cutting through it. Pyros couldn't even scream in pain, for the shear number of hits and their encompassing his entire body did not allow him to uncompress his lungs. Skin, Bone, and Muscle were bruised, bloodied, and torn. Pyros's mind knew he couldn't take further punishment like this if he hoped to defeat the REAL Raiden, so Pyros flared his anger yet again. He rebuilt the shield and expanded it instantly with his anger, deflecting the Bolts and lashing out at Raiden, who was shoved back. Then, he pulled the aura-ic shield back to himself. He launched himself forward to avoid further injury, and Raiden made a nice explosion where he had just been by wrapping five of the nicely sized ones together, powerful enough to knock out NPF's electric grid completely. Bleeding and a tad bruised more than he'd wanted, Pyros was happy to have avoided that attack. Raiden followed the moving Pyros with another attack of the sort, which Pyros leapt out of the way. Raiden leapt about, creating more of these such explosions that Pyros had to dodge. But being repetitive only brings forth patterns, which can be used against you. Raiden made yet another for Pyros to dodge, then doubled back quickly to catch the Fire Angel off guard. Pyros however, had been thinking the same thing and caught Raiden in the face with burning fist. It clotheslined the elder Thunder god, sending his attack harmlessly away, his feet continued to move forward, but his head went straight down. Pyros pounced upon him with his shield, slamming him flatter. He spun the flameshield about himself, grinding Raiden into the ground, but with great strength Raiden shoved him off and straight up into the air. Pyros let himself go along, and when he hit the cieling he rebounded himself back down towards Raiden. The return hit crushed Raiden, but Pyros bounced back off again. Raiden quickly got back up to his feet and hurled more bolts, but Pyros hit himself off the walls, bouncing about. He bounded for Raiden who went nimbly avoided him, but immediately came back with another bounce and slammed into his back. But this time, with the hit there was an explosion made from Pyros's quick hands. Raiden fell down, but got back up quickly, hovering in the air upon the electric power he was filled with. Pyros kept bouncing and bouncing, from cieling to wall to floor to the next wall, his speed increasing with every bounce. Truly, it was like a hyperbounce ball stuck in an enclosed box. The speed boost was due to an explosion being made with every bounce. Even if Raiden could avoid the attack, the after effect explosion came against him. Raiden roared and threw his previous massive attack again the very moment he got a clear shot. It hit it's target, and the shot knocked the bouncing ball back. But Pyros's force of speed didn't allow the the shield to break, and he used the force that the shot gave to increase his speed dramatically. Now the Flameshield ball he was in was nothing more than a red blur in the room. Raiden lashed out with Lightning in all directions, but what hit the Red ball was bounced back, and Even this Raiden had to move away from the backlash of his own attack, laced with fire. Pyros returned with his own attack. Raiden was clipped from behind, thrown forward by the explosion and met with another clipping to his face, side, and back. The resulting explosion nearly tore him apart. The room was full of explosions occuring simultaneously and in a chain. The sea of flames had become a sea of thunder, now a sea of explosion force. Raiden was buffeted on all sides, while Pyros moved at a speed known only to a certain superhero who also had a red blur after-image. "Wheeeeeeeeee!!!!" |
Krylo was up again, using what time Rhiya had managed to gain to recover and regenerate. It was at this prime time that Rhiya regretted giving those two extra guns to him. She was afraid Krylo might – in revenge-like fashion – shoot her down in the process of conquering the Raiden-puppet.
She was currently ducking a vicious sword-swipe from Raiden as she tried desperately to prevent the God-puppet from approaching the Withering Blade embedded in one wall. Rhiya’s chaos claws crossed and deflected another blow just barely. There wasn’t time for her plan to click into place, and she was doing all she can just to cling onto the ceiling with her wings, which were slowly inching her towards Krylo’s blade even as she tried to keep Raiden away. Suddenly, Rhiya fell loose. In midair, her wings unfurled like great sheets of goo and shot forward, punching the immortal/regenerative Raiden back like a mighty fist of subconscious goodness. But they didn’t stop there. Like splash damage, those wings gushed around Raiden, pinning his arms down and sending his sword skittering across the floor with a vigorous shake. Those same wings melted and solidified into the ground, concreting Raiden’s body to the point where he could barely even turn his head. Or breath, for that matter. Now, perhaps you may be wondering why Rhiya hasn’t finished Raiden off yet. This is why: Rhiya, in pinning down Raiden with nearly all of her subconsciousness, didn’t have enough left to actually turn around to face her enemy and do something explicitly nasty to Raiden. “Well? What are you fucking waiting for, Krylo? We gots ta hurry up and get this over and done with!” OOC: I hope I could do that........ |
Ecurt was ran as fast as he legs would let him, knowing full well how dangerous Pandora's Haxxors was. Like its mythological counterpart, it was harmless if left alone but, if opened, it could release a devastating force that would be comparable to that of Pyros' second Apocalypse. And, since he had left it behind within a room crowded full of power hungry newbs, it wouldn't be much longer before it activated.
Ten seconds later he was proven right when a newb noticed that Raiju was sniffing a box on the ground. Thinking it was free loot, he snatched it away and opened it, eager to see what 1337 treasure he had discovered. What he found was a little electric rodent, staring up at him with big black eyes, making the cutest face ever. Then, pikachu opened its mouth and exploded, taking out almost everything in that alternate universe at once. Ecurt was lucky; he had already made it out of the tunnel by this tame. Fenris...not so much. The hobo was still in the tunnel when some of the force from the Pika-bomb caught up to him, and he was shot out of the tunnel like a bullet. Ecurt wasn't worried though; Fenris was wearing the armor, after all. Taking a look around, Ecurt checked to see if anybody else was outside. Not seeing IC climbing the tower (because, he didn't really expect anybody to be doing that) he shrugged and took out a radio out of Rhiya's pants. Turning it on, Ecurt adjusted the frequency until he opened a line to Arhra. "Oi," he said, sending his message hopefully to through the cat ears on the other's head. "Arhra, are you there? Can you pick up? If you can, turn on your tail and give me a report!" |
The four sword, Like all sacred blades of Hyrule, had the power to repel evil, If the source of Raiden's new powers was evil, This image would have a serious adverse affect to the touch of the blade.(Think tetsaiga) The Four sword brothers, quickly moved out of the way and let Garud try his hand. Raiden had Garud where he wanted him, right in the way. But this did'nt change their plans very much.
The four Premonitions(s) moved in perfect synchronicity, They ran until they were standing around the two warriors in a wide diamond formation and then closed in from all sides. At the last moment their movements differed from each other and they ran Garud and Raiden through from four different angles. Both men began choking, as at least one blade had run through their throats. Premonitions could have all of himself slash away, Litterally tearing both men to shreds, but that wasn't nearly violent enough. Again they moved in unison, all of them pulling their blades out perfectly, Green pulled Garud by the arm and threw the heavily bleeding creature off to the side and pulled Raiden in close. "Tell me, before I kill you, what is this? what's the purpose?" The Puppet merely smiled as glowing blood trickled out of it's mouth"Now why would I tell something like that to something like you?" Green growled, This puppet was healing, rather slowly, but he could still see the flesh mending, it was almost fascinating. "Wwell It does'nt matter anyway, because when I find the real you, you'll be just another part of my collection" They each pulled out a plasma grenade, smiled and jamed the explosives, far into each of the four deep, wounds. They pushed them as far as they could go, deep inside the faux-god. A last mad cackle was heard as Premonitions applied all eight feet to Raiden and pushed off. Sending himself flying in four different directions. Green landed on his back near Garud. He got up and looked at the man. He was dying and he was'nt taking it very well.Premonitions returned the four sword to his portal and pulled out a red potion. He poured it out on top of the dying thing as it gave off it's last breath. It tranformed back into Garud and then lay still. As Premonitions'(s)three other selves faded away, Garud's wounds closed up, his eyes opened and he came gasping back to life. He had a look of excrutiating pain on his face and he was sweating profusely. At that moment, the grenades went off. The explosions rocked the landscape. Premonitions looked back and waited to see what wold happen. |
"GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!" Fenris yelled as he was shot out of the tunnel at massive speeds. He flew straight into a tree and fell over on the ground, with broken ribs from the impact.
Fenris groaned and layed on the ground, deciding he wasn't sure if he could move. |
