Hogart's Pwnage Comics
[U][U]Here are just a few of the comics I have made. Some of them i'm not sure what I was thinking when I made the jokes, and others will make you chuckle. I think a majority of the sprites were made by me except for the ones that were edited from square enix sprites. I would also like to give credit to anyone that I used their sprites. I hope you enjoy them. Also, don't judge the backgrounds, I went for that effect cuz i'm fat.

I hate to say it, but this comic is pretty bad. The text is hard to read because there's no text boxes, there's no storyline, and it just lookspretty bad. If this is a first attempt I'll cut you some slack. And yes, you said don't judge the backgroiunds, but their just bad! And a few don't even HAVE bacjgrounds. The only good thing is a few of the jokes are kinda funny.

Ehh text boxes are for nerds. There's no storyline . Yes there is you just have to pay attention to it. It really has no purpose but the comics do transition into one another...sorta. It just looks pretty bad. Well they were from a while back and I just didn't wanna bother with making the backgrounds good because it took too much effort. As far as i'm concerned though they have the criteria for being sprite comics because they are comprised of awesome sprites and the jokes make people chuckle. |

No, textboxes make your comic readable and less crappy Backgrounds take too much effort If you really think backgrounds are too much effort, you shouldn't be making a comic they have the criteria for being sprite comics because they are comprised of awesome sprites Those sprites are all just simple recolors. Take a look at one of my comics as an example. Here's one of my more recent ones: Example Notice how there ARE backgrounds and textboxes. It's NOT a bunch of random crap. And the sprites are NOT simple recolors. The sprites on the bottom half took me hours to do. (The sheet. Not the individual sprite) You have to read the rest of my comics to get the story but that is a good sprite comic. Yours is a sprite comic, but not a good one. |
Ouch that hurts. Okay not really, I only posted those comics to make a few people laugh. I was thinking about making another redone version of my comics but I haven't gotten around to it with my computer spasming out like it has been and all of the kingdom hearts 2 I have been playing lately. Oh and don't preach to me about sprites. I've been making sprites since before you were born. Okay not that long because I would be about 1 but ehh you get the point.
