I have wanted to use that Discussion title for so long.

Anyways, thought I'd make a new one since the other is 4 posts over.

Pyros/Prismatic, don't forget that Chi is creepy. Creepy, creepy, creepy. Like, sneak up behind you and whisper, "I want to touch your fleeeesh" level of creepy.

If it's ok with everyone else, I'm going to play Chi closer to what I got from the sign-up and Minataro's PM. I've never been so good at childish-misogyny along the lines of lusting and pervetdness. Heck, Grim is only chauvenistic because it pisses off Tayumi.

No, I do not appreciate being tentacled at all. Pyrosnine will pay for his transgressions.

Hmm, that makes two massive demonic beasts on the airship. That can't be good.

EDIT: Pyros, the point has been raised to me that your use of Chi is somewhat undesirable. Knocking out an elite monk like that and being completely unphased by being slashed like that are part of it. Magical blade don't forget. You also are godmodding by declaring the effect of major attacks such as the tentacles. Just as an example, Koyuki could slice through them and get out of the way before they reformed.

After careful consideration, Chi's apparent immunity to physical attacks is revoked. It is simply too much of a third ability. He is still strong against them, but he can't simply ignore them. We'll also make the assumption that while more of a puddle like that, Chi can't attack very well at all, but is more resistant to physical attacks. However, dispersing Chi is harmful to him.

Yay for cheesy monologues! I am waiting there for someone to address me. If no one wants to, I guess I will wake Tayuumi up at some point.

I agree with the melee thing, Arhra. However, I'm pretty sure Koyuki's blade is imbued with demonic magic, or at least has some slight demon magic in it to help her channel her own essence through it.

So, while he isn't immune to the melee part, he gets more of an advantage since he's very strong against the darker kind of magics.

Didn't we make a chart of his immunities somewhere?

Since their players left, Chi and Sanjuro are now killable right?

Yes, it's like cutting steel with a pair of scissors. Slow work, but possible.

This of course still doesn't mean she can impale him and do no damage. Nor should Koyuki arbitrially be knocked down and spanked by Chi's blood tentacles for no apparrent reason. Certainly a two-post action even if she didn't care to block or sever his tentacles anyway.

Actually, with his resistances, the demonic magic would make it do more damage.


His resistance chart is a few discussions back, and I don't remember it fully. I do remember that holy was the most damage, followed by fire, etc. until you get to unholy, which he is strongest against.

However, Mintaro made it clear that he didn't actually absorb any of the elements. They all hurt him, it's just that unholy magic hurt him the least.

So while he wouldn't take MUCH damage from the unholy magic, it would still be more than a normal sword.
