Yeah, I was just making up a Soul Calibur 2 rap during English today, when an idea popped into my head: why not make a thread so others can make their own videogame songs, too!

Here's part one of mine, a Soul Calibur 2 rap, to the tune of Eminem's 'Lose Yourself' with inspiration by Weird Al's parody 'Couch Potato.

Mr. V's Soul Calibur 2 Rap, Part 1

*cue music*
Look.
If you had,
One shot,
To sit on your lazy but,
and play all the SC you ever wanted,
'Til your soul turned to mush,
Would you go for it?
Or just let it slip?

Yo!

Control is ready,
Eyes wide, palms are sweaty.
Demo playin' on the TV already,
Talim and Asty
No virgin, to 8-way runnin'
And I'm soul charged and ready
So I hit START,
Wins are all I'm getting
There's Nightmare, ow!
Who foes wanna disembowel
He opens his mouth,
Always has breath that's foul.
They're dying, wow.
Wannaces are cryin' now!
He devours the souls,
Better throw in the towel!

Hey it's pretty nice, although I would change some of the lines to be less like weird al. I'm pretty good at rapping but terrible at coming up with my own songs. I'll see if I can meet your challenge though.

Lol, that's great. My friends and I came up with an ode to sonic the hedgehog awhile ago, more like a eulogy laying him to rest after they started making sonic games platformers, but I can't for the life of me remember the words. I'll try to think of it.

I didn't make any songs for a game, but I'm very tempted to post the Super Mario Bros. Rap...

Someday when I have enough time, I'll invest in a cheapass digital 8-track, get my guitar fixed and start doing some composin'. And maybe buy myself a nice 88 weighted key Triton board, too.

Battles now are just way to easy,
They're over before you can say fasheezy,
Winning ain't a hard trick,
Just use your uber magic!

First of all, what song is that to? Secondly, fasheezy? Good lyrics.

There is no song, I was making it up while thinking of a generic rap beat and the basic rhyming lines.
