I've wanted to do this for 3 years. There is no limit and all sign ups will be valid. Combat will be settled via paper rock scissors sent to me for judging. the winner kills the loser, in case of a draw you both escape and I decide injuries.

STORY: The unemployment rate of young adults has sky rocketed to over 65% Due to this there is increased unrest in the youth of the nation. The youth have become disillusioned at their lack of a future. Fearing an uprising the nations adults pass the Millenium education reform act, also known as the BR act. The BR act allows the governement to randomly select, kidnap, and transport one class of high school students to a remote location where they will be forced into Battle Royale, sending a message that the government is truely in charge. Your class has been selected for Battle Royale...

The bus enters the tunnel as the rowdy kids carouse and laugh. None notice the gas...

Bio: Kaori Sanada is a hard working shrine maiden for the Sanada shrine. She's used to getting up early, cooking, cleaning, and performing various rituals. In spite of being a shrine maiden, she's not enthusiastic about her life being decided for her and would rather be a pop star or famous actress. Still, she devotes herself well to her tasks and is rarely seen in normal clothes, usually only being seen wearing her school uniform or her shrine maiden outfit.
Extra: Kaori only plays tennis because her friend Yuki pressured her into it.

I expanded on the story.

Combat will be handled by choosing fight or flight then either Paper, Rock, or scissors if you both choose flight you escape unscathed, or you can choose to unite as a team. Fight however will have winners and losers.

Bio: Tomasu is the sickest bastard the Onibaka gang has ever seen. It's why they keep him around. He's always up for a fight, and he's always the first to draw blood. Even when the fight is "over", he goes around to those too injured to get back up...and finishes them off. He enjoys torturing the kids where he lives. He ties them up and dunks them under water, only pulling them up right before they inhale. He ties them with packaging tape and pushes them off bridges, enjoying the way their bodies crumple. And now...he has governmental permission to fight. He wouldn't pass it up.
Extra: Tomasu's camera is used for one purpose only. When he actually kills a person, he takes a picture of their corpse. If he takes out his camera, the person against him should be very afraid.

Bio: Matsuo Akira has always been popular at school for one reason. He is the only student there to have been a main character in a major movie. Therefore most of the people who hang around with him aren't really his friends. His real friends are the people who go to his Vocal Jazz class. He is never seen wearing a school uniform because all the staff and teachers like him too much to care.
Extra: Matsuo has sometimes been seen clutching his forehead, then taking one of his pills.

Name: Shinryu Oritotsuke

Hobbies: Oritotsuke is a gamer and nothing else.
Appearance: Oritotsuke is 5'9", and on the corpulent side for a Japanese person. He had just dyed his hair blue the night before, and it's in your standard, "geek" hairstyle, pronounced "howeveritfell". He wears contacts, and is nearly blind without them. After about two days, he will have to take them out.
What's in your school bag: X-box controller (just in case), lighter, matches, a dozen burned CDs and a blank one, three twinkies, and two Mountain Dews.

Bio: Oritotsuke had a normal childhood, and a normal school career, a left-over piece of the high-school "community" neither Jock, nor nerd, nor popular, nor in Band. Oritotsuke was the geek, who wasn't.

He is naturally gifted, so never works at anything, unless it's very important. He likes physics because it is so simple, a caveman could do it. Mathematics comes almost as easily, with Verbal and Oral skills lagging the most.
Extra: He will try his hardest to escape from having to do any work what-so-ever. If doing something early on will cause him to have far less work in the long-run, he'll do it, but grumblingly.

Bio: Nagori Kanazawa, your typical quiet loner. The third of four children, Nagori is used to going unnoticed and does so quite easily. The only time anyone in school ever gives him attention is to give him a hard time. He wears long sleeved shirts to hide the cuts he has been making on his arms. Most days he thinks of going quietly, but there are others when taking them all down with him sounds like fun...

I haven't been in one of these in years. Sounds like fun!

Appearance: Niryu stands about 5'8", has his dark medium-length hair slicked back on the top and hanging down on the sides, a couple of bright red streaks in it (He had intended to dye it back out before school started, but he obviously never got the chance). He has brown eyes and a long face. He usually wears a pair of pale green tennis shoes that he got from a friend in America. His skin tone is a bit tanner than most japanese nowadays. His build is slim but muscular.
What's in your school bag: Can of hair spray, lighter, six pack of energy drinks with two remaining, Handheld dating sim, batteries for dating sim, a set of drawing pencils, a drawing pad.
Did you volunteer for BR: No
Bio: Niryu, from looking at his list of various martial training, seems like someone who would volunteer for the Battle Royale. However, he learned from the martial arts that the loser is usually the one who strikes first. In addition, his family has strong Budhist beliefs, and the few times that he did stop a mugging by breaking the mugger's arm, he was denied food for three days. He no longer feels any strong desire to help others and is just as likely to break your wrist as to shake your hand. He is not too proud to run away, but he is no coward. He planned on being a writer, which would be difficult but would require nothing like the Battle Royale to decide. As such, upon finding himself in such a situation he is none too pleased.
Extra: Niryu has a twin sister, Shinki, who got into college not too long ago. Niryu is a big fan of "Fist of the North Star".

Bio: Akira, despite martial arts training, is not by any means a strong person. He's mostly a loner who sticks to himself and only learned karate as a quick way of defending himself, but he has no desire to use it if it can be avoided. A boy partially obsessed with fire and explosions, he has learned about numerous chemical compounds that violently react, and often likes to test them on condemmed buildings or dead trees. He's never intended to harm anyone though. A partial thrillseeker, he enjoys breaking the speed limit when he drives, and somehow has never been caught.
Extra: The contents of the vials are compounds that explode when exposed to flame, that he absconded from the chem lab before leaving school the previous day.

Appearance: 5'4", 112 lbs, Black hair, brown eyes, with circular frameless glasses. Wears traditional Japanese school uniform, consisting of white shirt and green skirt.

Bio: Born in Toyko Japan, Akiyo is your average high school student, with a strong sense of self-respect for aspiring to the noble profession of an ER-nurse. Despite her moral of "do no harm", Akiyo harbors a strong sense of self-preservation, particularly instilled by her father, whom forced her to take Karate for self-defense. This has led to a rather ambivalent attitude toward those who would do her harm, in which case her moral judgement goes out the window.
Extra: Akiyo's First Aid Kit is a required item for Med-Tech 3, and contains various items such as a CPR Breathmask, Bandages, Alcohol wipes, Sutures, and the like.
