I'm not sure why the Light Warriors worry about obstacles or monsters standing in their way. They are nothing compared to the obstacles and monsters within the party.

My favorite line, by far:

Also, earthquakes aren't just caused by Bahamut's bathing suit area. They are caused by all of our bathing suit areas, for they are a sin against the lord.

duh, of course he is. being poofed the last 20 feet of a thousand mile journey rife with monsters, poison, famine and fighter will clearly leave him incomprehensible and hadoken happy for at least the next 10 strips.

Also, I too am fond of that simple, concise Oh, it is very apropriate, but i wonder if it would have been any lessened by fighter going poo as well.

The monsters in their way just add on to the waiting list for the list of their problems (it's overcrowded you see). It's like poking an infected wound with a rusty needle found in an inner city gutter.

What? They get back to Sarda and already they're on their way? No "Good job, Light Warriors. Come, sit down and have tea and crumpets with me."? That's not only rude, it's rather...how would one put it?

Silly, I guess. I mean, Sarda could have just told them what their next quest would be and where it was BEFORE all this crap. Would have saved time. Expecially if it turns out to be farther away in the direction that they just came from.

You just KNOW Brian's now gonna do something like have him say something in the last panel of 9 comics from now, right?

Sarda looks so happy as he talks about the faceless horrors.

Be funny if they get to the end and find out that all the time Sarda actually WAS the demon Chaos XD
