RAKHASA SECRET POWAH!: While it is true that a Rakshasa can't mimic innate powers such as healing, or complete mastery over fire, such a capability was encoded into Rakhasa out of a level of apathy Pyros held at the time the deal was made.
With a great surge of effort, a Rakhasa can assume a state of pure energy, and from this state, assume a perfect copy of anything, down to their inner powers. It can even assume a form different from the target, with the target's powers, for any Rakhasa that refuses to become a tiny pink blob that says "Poyo", or a nude blue hedghog or the like. (OR a female minded Rakhasa that doesn't want to become Raiden, hint hint.) This power comes at a price however, with strain being placed upon a mind not used to being able to do whatever it suddenly gained the abiliy to do.
Also, some powers are hard to restrain, even for their users, making it even harder.
And lastly, the greatest sucky part of this ability is that once it's done, it's permanent. And if the target's power (I.E. Raiden) more than the shapeshifter can take, (I.E. Phoenix) after 30 minutes the Rakhasa's molecules will unbind in a horrific and painful explosion of death.
The greatest danger of this, comes from the remote chance a Rakhasa could learn of this ability, and then the slimmer chance that same Rakshasa could gaze upon a being of great higher power, like Pyros himself, or someone like the Creator. Even if it was only for a short while, the problems that could be created in that small window could create damage on a scale unfathomable.
Like, rewriting history and making Eve horrifically ugly, and then dooming mankind when Adam runs away from her, trips, lands upon a pointy rock, and dies.
