The world officially cannot get any stupider.

NOTE: Nintendo Power is a video games magazine, so I thought that this belonged here.

I would first like to congratulate every moron in the world who made this possible. The following is a transcript from the latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine.

I am so excited for The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess! It looks totally awesome. I have a question, though. Why is Nintendo only releasing the game on the PS3?

I won't even waste my time pointing out everything that's wrong with that.

Wait. Is this a written-in article?

Please tell me it was a letter that was sent to NP.

Bob The Mercenary 05-03-2006 03:00 PM

Meh, just looks like a mild brainfart to me.

I love NP Mag, because they is the funny. They often write some of the letters that they get for comedy's sake, but some are really real.

Too bad I can't afford to reknew my subscription....WAAH! I'm broke!

I liked NP for a while, but after a bit I really couldn't stomach them. They've got an incredible bias, and all of their ratings are jacked up "Because they're on Nintendo."

Their humor doesn't stick well with me, at least compared to GamePro, with the cartoon avatars.

Same with me. They'll get a chuckle from me from time to time, but I go to EGM for the funny.

Dude, as an oldschool reader of NP magazine I can truly say they've fallen horribly far from the glory they once had in the early to mid 90s. Read a Game Informer and then read NP. You'll see how desparetely pathetic NP is trying to be like GI.

Old NP magazines also had comics in them.
Anybody remember the long running Samus comic? Mario Brothers comic where it first introduces Wario and how their rivalry stems from an incident where they were both babies? That silly comic with the red haired dude who was also a guest character in Pilotwings 64? Lester the Unlikely?

Those were the golden days.

What about that kid who kept getting dropped into various games? I think one was Ninja Gaiden.

I must say, I prefer Ziff-David publications. Gamepro always seemed to talk down to it's audience (c'mon, that avatars aren't really that cool).

I have a subscription to Game Informer b/c of Gamestop, and it's alright. Got the scoop on Red Steel (probably because it's associated with a retail outlet). I also used to get the one that EBgames put out. Too bad they stopped that one.

Please, do not ever mention Captain-N. It was a not-short-enough lived comic book for a while, too.
