Hey Jad, did you get my PM?

Tenjin Matsukaru 01-18-2004 06:25 AM

*drools at the mention of Ecm's and cloaking units* mmm stealthy. In any casr IHMN, my planned UCV really won't be packing much. Its more designed to sneak up ahead of the pack, send back recon information and scuttle back. If it had to do any fighting I will be relying on its speed with a Gladius to take out its enemy *imagines UCV slitting anothers throat drools even more*

Movement rules. The number of the legs. is the number of movement points you get. every point is about twenty meters It takes a point to turn 60 degrees. Two points to strafe unless you are using magnetic hover legs or quad legs wich costs one point. I will supply a simple map of out combat zone so this will be easy to keep track of. A combat round is about two seconds. so try to limit you posts to what you can do in two seconds of combat. Missles will understandably take longer, but their FCS will automatically start targeting an enemy vehicle that is kept in their field of fire. So to use the missile just keep your target infront of you for 15 turns.

Wouldn't that make missiles virtually useless? ECM and decoys would have a field day with them... How about IFF identification systems?

Squishy Cheeks 01-18-2004 12:50 PM

Built into the basic computer. and that's the point of ECM systems. cause once locked on the missile will hit. unless something gets in it's way.

Raiden 01-18-2004 12:52 PM

Sadly, I can see where people are going to get mixed up in these things and go over. I mean, it's easier if you're playing a video game where they tell you how much stuff you have left and things. But when you're only writing stuff in, it's hard to keep track.

IHateMakingNames 01-18-2004 12:54 PM

Raiden is going to have a big problem with this, since he wants to run around and blow stuff up.

I will have an easy time, since I just sit back and snipe.

And couldn't you shot the missles in mid-air?

Squishy Cheeks 01-18-2004 01:01 PM

You try shooting something going about 648 kmph

IHateMakingNames 01-18-2004 01:03 PM

That's why I'm getting a small machine gun or a shotgun for a secondary weapon, just incase any anti-missle things I have fail, I can resort to random shooting in the missles general direction.
