Well unlike to some people's suspicions, I thought that there was a vig and that the PO could help protect a mafiate if they so chose. I'm learning like most of you so don't hit me off for making a small error in the learning process.

I read this earlier and it just registered with me today

No bad idea. If we do that then we are in trouble there are 5 townies we lost one already that makes 4 if we don't lynch a mafiate today and we don't lynch the PO either then there are only 3 townies left and when the mafia hits that night we are 2/2, 2/3 if the P.O. is left if we kill off the last inexperienced we are quite possibly killing off our last hope of survival.

Mesden was entirely right, in all likelyhood, one of the experienced people has to be a mafiate, so that the inexperiienced mafiate has some help in choosing targets.

What I was essentially saying there is that if I get killed at night, then Spacepope must be a mafiate, and if Spacepope gets killed at night, then I must be a mafiate.

Are you saying that it is a bad plan to vote for someone you know to be a mafiate by process of elimination?

And I'm having trouble following your math there.

Of course, this assumes that we catch a mafiate today and not waste our time trying to get ahead of ourselves.

I guess I did get a little ahead o myself but the thing I was mainly having a problem with is was the voting for the person simply because they are an experienced person. I realize that it's likely an experienced would be a mafiate in fact it wouldn't make alot of sense if at least one experienced person wasn't a mafiate (how else would an inexperienced mafiate learn how to do his job). I have problems with the proccess of elimination when we are talking about so late in the game. On another note though why should we wait for one of the experienced to kill off the other before we vote we should take the initiative.

You are totally forgetting about mesden here. And frankly you are making me uncomfortable with the sly accusation you just leveled in there. How does that make me mafia. I really want to know why it has to be like that. There are three experienced players here. Not just you and me. Just to put it out there, it could be you and mesden that are mafia. (It probably isn't) But I do know that I do not like that play newb and I need some explanation.
