Um, I don't know who to vote for really.

I have my reasons for doubting that Spacepope is mafiate, and I know I'm not mafiate myself, but beyond that I just don't know who to look at.

Demonlink2 08-01-2006 07:33 AM

The irony! And here I was believing that dojindog was mafia due to his eagerness fo night! Anyways....I bet one of the pros is mafia, if not both, so I won't release any statements just yet. But I bet one of them is.

Vote count

No one. Play, people.

Bailey 08-04-2006 08:37 AM

Uhhhhh, just to get this moving, Vote: GrthWllms

Because if you put back his vowels and take away his consonants, his name is "aeiia", which means "jerkface" in the language I made up three seconds ago.

Demonlink2 08-04-2006 10:32 AM

Well, while we're on random votes which are relatively baseless,

Vote:SpacePope
because I finished reading Angels and Demons yesterday, and it told me that the papacy is dead and chamberlains are evil.

Bailey 08-04-2006 10:42 AM

you know, if you needed a reason to go after Spacepope, there was the fact that he voted for Dojin and said that the only good idiot is a dead idiot.

That said, I still don't think SpacePope is a mafiate.

Demonlink2 08-04-2006 10:52 AM

Well, Spacepope has a point in that the only good idiot is a dead idiot. However, it is possible that Spacepope is mafia and, enraged that we wouldn't lynch him, killed Dojin. Of course then there's thecircular logic that someone else is planning this to incriminate Spacepope. So it's either Spacepope is mafia or someone else is planning all of this.

Well as long as were throwing out useless votes, why don't I just vote for Mesden. I mean thats basically what you two are doing and even though Mesden is out of the game, it would be a throwaway vote that people would have no reason to vote for. I mean, what does

have to do with anything relevant in the game besides maybe some comic relief Newb? It doesn't have anything to do with the game. Your basically saying that "I'm gonna vote for this person because their name is gay in a language that nobody knows about or cares about". That being the case...I'm gonna vote: Newb I just can't stand idiocy in something as important in a game as deciding who to lynch. That and I noticed that you have not voted for one of the vets yet so I guess you are trying to defend them, and now that everybody gets the general idea of the game, I don't see the vets necessary any more.

The explanation was meant as a joke. My point was that an incredibly stupid vote was better than no vote at all, seeing as how just sitting around doing nothing would give the mafia easy pickings.

If you didn't get that much, then maybe you do still need the vets around to explain things.

Supreme Edgemaster 08-04-2006 12:51 PM

Well a pointless vote is just that, pointless. I'd prefer to not vote than take a chance of knocking off my aligned people. Whether thats townies or mafia, I won't say. But just because I won't say, dont assume one way or the other. You are not supposed to reveal your alignment or else you will be easy pickings for the other side. For example,

I did not expect a vet to make that error. Even I would not reveal my alignment or risk lynching via mafia. I'm kinda wondering if you have had any success in any mafia games or if you are just called a vet because of how many games you've been in.
