Elementals I
"Thank you with the help there young lady." A large-bodied bartender said to Inyri, who nodded in return. "Course, I never thought those last two would ever leave. Course, no people means no money, so I guess it all evens out in the end. Speaking of which, here." he said, putting down some coins. "Here's your pay. 75 credits. Go anhead and take them." Inyri quickly finished wiping off the table she was working on and picked up her pay. "You can go on home now. If I need any more help, I'll let you know ok?" the batender said. Inyri nodded, letting him know that she wouldn't mind at all.

Bob walked along the wastelands with a purpose. sunglasses on his head, and a beige scarf wrapped around his face. The rocks and sand didn't hinder his movement across the plane.
James Arklite ambled down the street, trying to bury himself as deep into his cold weather jacket as possible (im assuming that on planets orbiting red dwarf stars things would get pretty cold at night). On one shoulder was a tattered badge and on the other was his ID number. Both meant nothing to him now ever since he was discharged for showing elemental tendancies. Now the only memories he could remember of his time in the Special Tactics Unit were bitter and unforgiving. "hmph to hell with 'em" He qiuckly glanced at his watch "dammit I better get home or I'll never wake up tomorrow" He picked up the pace a bit and glanced behind him, something catching his eye. James swung his head back around and bumped into someone outside a bar "oh shit! Sorry about that!"
As James looked at the man he bumped into, a small chill went down his spine. The man had a black hooded cloak on, and his hood was up over his head. He could see red eyes looking out at him through the darkness of the hood. The eyes were now squinting at him.
"Watch where you're going." |
Pulling her jacket, Inyri walked out of the bar. A couple of buildings down, there looked to be some sort of arguement starting up. She gave a bit of a sigh, since she had to walk past it in order to get to where she was staying, a semi-abandoned warehouse.
Bob enetered the town. He romved the scarf. He put the scarf in his jacket pocket.
Vance, just arriving in town, stood there watching the argument. "Oh, just quit it will you!" He said with his dark and monotone voice. After having said that to the two bickering men, he left of to his sleeping place, completely disappearing in the shadows. Heading to the rather small mansion at the edge of town.
Samuel looked at the man who had yelled at him, and then returned his full attention to James.
"You still haven't apologized for running into me." |
Vace was in the shadows of a nearby alley way and watched the argument. He shook his head and almost laughed at the fool that started yelling at the two and left, then continued to watch the fight, since they were fighting outside one of his favorite bars.
James snapped his head back at the strangers appearance "ah... sorry about that I'll be on my way" James kept walking slightly quickening his pace all the while wondering who the hell has glowing red eyes and a hooded cloak He just kept walking. As far as he was concerned distancing himself from things like that was probably a healthy move.
