Plan to do nice little part three of character development/training for mission post before you start the actual raid posts. Does this setting have fluid VR or do we train in our suits?

Heliomance 07-13-2006 02:27 AM

Mind if I get my suit upgraded to have some non-guided missiles in, to help against the Hazes?

BTW, are they Hazes or Hazers?

Well actuall it's just the name we labeled em with, TB probly had a different one in mind.

So go with what ever i'm sure other people will switch between them..lol like me, Think i've called em both.

Silly Azisien...after all this, and you expect me to have a plan? :D

Actually, if you guys are doing drills, I can go with that for a bit...that way we won't hit Mars in a "now what?!" sense.

In response to the sim vs. jump thing, I vote for sims. This way we can flesh out the setting a little more, stretch it out a little more, and Burnelli can practice with his new platoon (instead of just being thrown into battle with them). On top of that, it would be fun to spend the week going through all these simulations, from smooth to WORST CASE, and then perform the actual operation and have something EVEN WORSE happen. :p

And I've been working a lot, hope to have a post up myself soon.

I know I'm following a rather predictable script...but sometimes is scary how predictable it is. :sweatdrop

Hi.

I'd like to officially apologize for nto posting for the last week. I was out in Honduras, away from computers and the internet and the finer things in life. I suffered much. At any rate, I still won't have all the time I'd like, but I'll be around.

Thanks for your time.

Azisien 07-20-2006 10:42 PM

To be perfectly honest, you haven't missed much. We've all been busy/awayish. I just hope we can adapt this to a nice leisurely slow-moving RP as opposed to a forced rush one that...will die.

Alright...I'l get a sim going tomorrow...I'm tired and rather hot right now (it's 10:20...and still 84*F)...so I'll whip something up tomorrow when I get home from church.

EDIT: Alright...in standard fashion, by "tomorrow after church", I meant "Wednesday evening."

I do have some excuses though:

Sunday: Was sick...didn't feel like writing.

Monday: Had family over, had to work.

Tuesday: ...Does "Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War" count as an excuse...'cause that's all I got.

Post up as soon as I see if anything else has happened and as soon as I pound it out.

You know, for some reason whenever I hear 'Sim' I think of hilarious newspaper articles regarding llamas*.

*this was a rather roundabout way of saying that I posted.
