guys, you really need to converge. I cant handle all these seperate events, so start saving each others butts

that's beautiful you jackass! Heh. For future reference I'm the type of guy who probably would have pulled him up by now.

For future referance: for the type of missions that I see them use gunships on, they'll usually only have one gunner, with the two pilots, and when attacking, will be circling.

And you all will have to back away a bit for it to land, and it will be a tight fit.

Sol was leaning out the door for a better view, the helicopter was still in the air. And this was just a one shot tag along so he could see how it's done and stuff. Not comfy or anything, but for the new kid it never is.

actually from a stratigic stand point I would keep you seperated and pick you off one at time. Zombies dont tire, without reinforcements, rest, and ammo you will eventually fall

Hence why I'm trying to pick up these people and get them to a safe haven.

safe is a very relative term.
Just remember fuel is a luxery. The Horde has taken out all sources of fuel so use it sparingly.

Also I sadly have to point this out, you are NOT master marksmen. Even for someone with training head shot after head shot is hard. And by training I mean you shoot moving targets for a living, your average soldier isn't even a master marksmen. In fact a soilder would probably aim for the chest, easier target.

But I had something more specific for te crossbow thing...its a crossbow. You cant fire it in quick succession, trust me I know. You must fire a shot, set the string for another shot, load the arrow, take aim, fire. Even assuming you practice it daily it all takes a few seconds. Plus you managed to do both head shots, either you took your time and aimed or are the luckiest SOB in the world.

One last thing, remember everyone your still being chased by the living dead (or is it undead). I think you should be abit more frantic and scared. Even the anti-zombie survival army should be abit nervous.

Two things:
One: I suggest that we go to my library, since it seems to be the closest thing we have to a safe haven.
Two: Waylander took his forum name from a character in a David Gemmel book who used a crossbow with two bows mounted one on top of the other, and hence it's likely he intended his character to have one of those. Massively implausible as it is, I think you should allow it. After all, I'm using a pair of antique flintlocks...

Well, I imagine that a military base would be quite safe, especally with a lot of defences and armed people.
