How 'bout Edward Norton as Kefka?

funny Fantasy: The Movie would be quite amusing. Let's say Sandra Bullock as Edea (FF8) Rowan Atcinson as Kefka, Michelle Pfeifer as Rinoa, Dawn French as Yuna. Just in case: french looks out like this:::

Rowan Atkinson... that's... friggin' genius. That could actually work in a serious movie. If he plays it right.

I'm quite surprised I didn't think of it right away... Hugh Jackman as Auron. I just now looked at an Auron image and instantly thought "Wolverine" (and by the sound of things, if he was casted for Auron, Jackman could basically play Wolverine and get away with it).

Bingo! I've been thinking of a place to put good ol' Sean in, and that would work.

I like my yuna idea. Dawn is a comedian, so she could pull it of. She has made a skech of Bjorn, Sophie Bextor, Madonna and Frodo. She makes good jokes.

I could think of three people for Cid Highwind. Connery of course, but Harrison Ford could pull off a serious Cid, while Tommy Lee Jones could swear like crazy six ways to Sunday.

If this was a comedy movie, the ideal person to cast for Tidus would be *dun dun* Meg Ryan. They have the same hair. O_o

Rufus ShinRa and his evil cabinet...I could actually see Seth Green as Rufus. Both orange, both the sons of somewhat evil geniuses [Dr. Evil of course]. Then his evil cabinet...John Goodman as Heideggar, definately. That guy that played Boris Grishenko in Goldeneye'd be cool for Hojo. Bald Joe Pantiolano as Rude, Keanu Reeves as Tseng, Ashton Kutcher as Reno definately. I'm not too sure who to cast as wenchy Scarlet...Pam Anderson maybe?

edit: Benico Del Toro would actually work as either Tseng or Reno.

Heidegger (The Shin-ra military guy): That guy who played Rosanne's husband

Cid: I'm leaning towards Dennis Leary, that could be either a really good thing, or a really really bad thing

President (former) of Shin-ra: Don Rickles, come on, you know he could play a good bad guy and he has the face to match

Tifa: No known actor can play her effectively enough. We need some unknown up-and-coming actress

Rufus: Seth Green

Lol, that's one way to slice it. He [Goodman] actually played the President on the West Wing for a few episodes when Martin Sheen impeached himself because he couldn't do it. So at least it's confirmed he can hold a position of power...just don't watch King Ralph.
