Does the psp make you sick??

Ive had my psp for pretty much a year now and Ive had the same problem since day one: My psp gives me a HUGE headcache that lasts days and on occasions makes my stomach sick! Frankly I rarely use it but Ive had enough Im thinking of just selling the damn thing. And it only happens on the psp, any other portable doesnt do anything to me and my friends dont get affected by it. Does anyone else have my problem?

I can't remember what it's called, but it's a real disease. It has something to do with the way your eyes receive rapidly-blinking lights from the screen, your mind interpets it in a bad way that makes you physically ill. Tough luck. I suggest you sell it as soon as possible.

Take gravol before you play it. That'll fix your problem.

As for me, the PSP does make me sick... sick with AWESOME!!!!!!

Its called motion sickness, and the DS does not have such a high definition screen. The PSP has a lot of colors and graphics. It sends too many signals to the brain at once.

Does this happen with non-portable video games?

It very well could be the screen. Then again, it might be the way you play it. Do you sit hunched over it, or do you perhaps lay on your stomach when playing? Or maybe you've got some other position? Try sitting in other positions to see if it helps any.

You could also be playing with the screen too much close to your eyes. Or playing too much...I feel something like this when I play more than 12 hours straight >_>

Doesn't the user's guide specifically say to stop playing and call a doctor if you get sick? I think even Sony would know enough about that to be trustworthy.

Motion Sickness?

It's not a defect, it's a feature!

I play with as much distance as I can because it reduces the effects of said things, I can only play for half an hour tops because it makes me feel horrible. When I play my DS or my consoles nothing happens, not even on my 360 that I have hooked up to an HD tv.
