To any interested, I scanned Super Mario Adventures...

Super Mario Adventures

I present to you all, Nintendo Power's Super Mario Adventures comic, from circa 1992, in all its resplendent glory, for your viewing pleasure. I took the initiative to scan and upload every single page for those of you without its goodness in your lives. You haven't lived until you've read it.

It has everything you'd expect from a Super Mario Bros. comic: Mario gets stoned, Luigi dresses in drag, and the Yoshi horde finally triumphs over all...well, maybe that's not what you expected, but it's what you're GETTING.

I may be scanning The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past comic if I get the ambition...

Oh wow.

Thank you does not begin to cover it.

That was quite spiffy. Thank you, Magus, for giving me hot Luigi-in-a-dress action.

By the by, the links for pages 21 and 23 are messed up, as they have an extra http// in them. So, if you can fix that, go for it.

Also, while I'm biting the hand that fed me, I looked at your front page and saw that you plan to scan the LttP, Star Fox, and Super Metroid comics. Well, the Link to the Past comics can already be found here, and Super Metroid (in addition to nifty but untranslated manga) can be found here. You can still go for it, I just thought you might (maybe, for some reason) want to know.

HA! I've had that since it first came out, and I have read it religiously. It was a chance gift, on a shopping venture in Georgia with my Aunt Sam and my mother. My sister was getting an atrocious amount of dresses, shoes, and whatever, so when I just held up one comic that had mario on it, she bought it for me immediately. It's still in mint condition too.

But don't bother scanning the Zelda one. It's right here, with several other Zelda Mangas. I've got it on my computer right now, and I use one of them as a desktop picture.

I'll probably still scan and upload them for sheer competitiveness, not to mention that the LttP ones are in an Adobe Acrobat file and I personally am annoyed by this. Oh, and I couldn't find the Star Fox comics anywhere, so that's still up for "grabs" as it were.

Anyway, thanks for the links and glad to see there are some other fans of these comics out there...

These are fantastic. Thank you very much! I'm loving the Boo storyline. Those guys are adorable.

Heh.

I actually have the original comic.

Go me.

Does anyone know where I can get the Legend of Zelda comic?

EDIT: Like, purchase?

Ah, I can still remember the day I bought that comic.

I was like 9 or 10 or something, and I was alking through Wal-Mart with my granma, when I saw this, and my ganma decided to by it for me, out of the blue.

I read that thing till the cover fell off.

I left it at my granma's house, and she went all "VIDEOGAMESARETEHDEVIL!" on me and tossed it.

And with that, I thank you, Magus, for the memories.
