Yes! It's nice to see somebody recognise that. To be honest, when I posted that, I forgot this was the UK viewer thread, so I figured most people wouldn't be familiar with Dad's Army, but I guess it's still popular here, which is nice.

Although it seems to have faded a bit lately. I'm sure it was on TV more a few years ago.

I wonder how popular it is in other countries actually, I know a few BBC comedies like Red Dwarf have a lot fans around the globe, but others seem to not really get outside of England popularity wise...

Is that at all what Tom Baker was like in the role? I might go looking for Fourth Doctor episodes if it is, I like his evil booming cackle.
