You could be right, however, I don't have anything to base a vote off of at the moment. A few people look slightly suspicious, but not enough to warrant voting or even FoSing.

Yes, that would have been better.

Sorry, but in this game I have to go with what you originally said. Sometimes you can give yourself away just with how you word things. I don't really think you deserve a vote at the moment.

Ok, this is an entirely stupid theory probably brought about by being 2:30 am over here, but I wanted to bring it to your attention, it's been bugging me since I read it*.
This seems like a very good attempt at swaying suspicion away from herself havng anything to do with the cult. And if thats true, that'd make Mes the cult leader.
Yeah, that's all I got. Just wanted to post that before I forgot.

*ok, not the exact momnt I read it, more like 2 hours later or so.

You need to think like a conspiracy theorist in this game at least this early in the game with as little evidence as we actually have. You are doing the right sort of thing here everyone is a suspect. As for your mafiate offing another mafiate theory I think that would be a completely good idea. With a good number of mafiates already a mafiate being offed early would provide the person who offed said mafiate some backing when it comes down to the grind.

Do you ever vote for someone without being the PO, kitty? /joke.

In all honesty, I've nothing against Sith. But it got the game rolling fairly well and we seem to be enjoying the explanation we're throwing at each other.

Also, Neyo, on the prospect of how much of a veteran Twid is, take it this way.

Game 1- He was a completely unsuccessful Bbodyguard
Game 2- He was a fairly inactive cultist that died quickly
Game 3- Dropped out early
Game 4- He was a mafiate and was at the lynching stand before the game was called off

This is how I examined his play record. He's not been an entirely successful player. Had the mafia wanted to off a veteran, I would most likely be first on the list(Unless I am mafia, myself).

Then there's always the ruse of, "The mafia would've killed Mesden if she weren't mafia because she's the most veteran player around!". Woo, possible ploys of mafia!

I don't think the first kill has much relevance to who is mafia(Unless it's SK because I know she hates Twiddy :p).

Sith's conflict with me has bioled down into him saying he plays morally. I can't help but think this is a ruse, as one townie is NOT worth one mafia. To win, we're most likely going to lose more townies than 5 and we HAVE to to do that. His entire philosophy is cored towards the mafia's favor, something I don't condone of.

He states he's not stupid. No, you can be smart and make mistakes. I'll rip off a line from Harry Potter and say that the more intelligent you are, the bigger your mistakes will be.

Now then, anyone disagree with what I'm saying? And if so, please state why.

Oh yeah, because instead of trying not to look like the cult, I should try to, since that totally makes since and mean I'm not the cult. *Eye roll*

Roy_D_Mylote 06-26-2006 08:55 PM

What was there really to disagree with in your post, Mesden? They were all your opinions. No-one's gonna say, "Nu-uh! That's not what you think!"

P-Sleazy 06-26-2006 08:56 PM

Steel Shadow, except why would she be asking that if she was the Cult Leader? Wouldn't she have known if she got to draft someone on night one if she were the cult leader? Yes, Yes she would have known. But she didn't and so she asked if the cult got to recruit. Because of this, I don't beleive that Mesden is the Cult leader. Probably the PO, if anything, trying to get her facts right before she starts looking and investigating people.

Silly Kitty 06-26-2006 08:57 PM

Bah! I don't hate Twiddy. He just loves to say I do! I must hurt me for what you have said! >> <<

God, Mes, always so self-centered. "I'm the best mafia player in the world!" "No one can compare to my mafia skills!" "I will crush you with my brain power!". PFFT! /joke

Um, you could state how my opinions might be wrong somehow. Since that's what you're supposed to do.

Opinions can be wrong. Take how I said his plan of play is positive for the mafia and make it seem negative.

Thinking is a powerful weapon. ;)

Roy_D_Mylote 06-26-2006 08:58 PM

Thing is, Mes, his plan can't be construed to work in favor of the town, in the long run.
