Bastard is as tame as it gets, because at this moment there are kajillions of bastards in this new day and age, whatwith our culture's mass marketing of sex, so many people want to have sex without caring/understanding the consequences, and having kids they never wanted.

Then the Dad decides having a kid would get in the way of his dreams and talent, leaves and is never heard from again except for a Oprah Reunion 30 years later.

Where it turns out that the woman is raking in more money per month than the guy is per year.

And the guy looks like a total dumbass.





After all, Oprah can't show successful guys and unsuccessful women, can she?
