Things you would like to see in future Final Fantasy games
 

I'm going to resurect this in this forum

-A Title charchter that isn't whiny.
-A plethora of weapons for the charchters
-A duelist charachter preferably voiced along the lines of Auron.
-A duelling mini game for said duelist character. Preferabbly along the lines of Soul calibur
-Mark Hamill doing some voice work, preferably as the wacky charachter or insane villain or both.
-A non sappy rommance. There can be romance, but I don't want it to be so sappy.
-An interesting and fun progression system similar, but better than the sphere grid.
-A story that doesn't involve saving the world. It could be saving a country, or a city. but not the world. and if it is saving the world. Have a good reason for the whatever to want to dominate/destroy the world.
-Either more or less technology, make up your minds already.
-If less technology play up other forms of magic like summoning, shamanism, individual elements, white magic, necromancy.
-If more technology, play down the magic. Have a technically savy charachter.
-Would it kill you to bring back the ninjas? Shadow kicked ass and I want a ninja charchter. don't get me wrong I like the thieves, they just don't have presence and badassness of a ninja.

-More wars

-Bromides

-More red mages
-More plot twists
-Tons of playable characters
-Time travel

-A better villian. There hasn't been a good villian since Sephiroth.

I'm in complete agreement here, Shadow being my favorite character from a FF game.

I beg to differ VideoDrone. There hasn't been a good villian since Kefka. Sephiroth was nothing more than a tool. Anyway, thats a discussion for the Kefka vs. Ex-Death string. I'd like to see another good Final Fantasy game. There hasn't been a good one since FF6. In that spirit, I'd like to see alot more open-endedness. I felt like they were holding my hand all through FF7.

Time travel should not be put in... It gets to confusing, especially if they tried doing it now. They would make the game far to confusing, since Chrono Trigger did it very simply (Only a couple of time periods you could go to) and it's an older game, it was simple and good.

And some people think Sephiroth is a tool, some don't. My guess is most people who do think he is a tool and just the people who never liked him in the first place.

-Battle system like that in Star Ocean 2.
-A necromancer
-More demons if it's less technology.

-Gore. Blood. SOMETHING. Killing enemies that isnt so... flash of light! disseapear! poof of curly smoke! Jesus christ, if the characters are goin around throwing "Shit" "damn" "bitch" "ass", I want to see some blood. I have NEVER seen blood in a Final Fantasy game. Me wanty.

-A battle system thats, gasp, realistic to the equipment you get! I want to see some swords that can break, and an actual reason to buy new ones - Also, when you get new equipment, I want it to register on the models!

Thats all I can think of, for now...

-What Atron said (I think). When you buy new equipment, your clothes should change if you bought armor, or a hat, or socks. And I would like to actually see the characters weapons at all times, not them jsut magically appearing during battles and cut scenes.

-A bladder, atleast a reference or two to it... They have people saying they are hungry (Though food consumption is not an issue). I would like atleast one line of "I've got to take a piss...".

-Have multiple models, with different clothes. I mean even Diablo has your charchter change clothes.
