I'm up way to early for my tastes and I'm bored so sue me. Describe your muse, not your muse in the literal sense, I mean in the greek godess, otherworldy being/thing that gives you inspiration to do stuff sense.

The Mighty Thor. Because who else can wield a hammer that big, talk like that, and still be taken seriously? ;)

Aw. I was going to say "Take one of me + Capt Morgan + Cherry Coke + Wacom Tablet = Muse"

I would have to say Calliope is my muse because I like projects that are big and epic. She was also Morpheus' lover (the god of sleep and dreams), and I get a lot of inspiration from dreams. So I think that fits.

Probably Narcissus. That bastard stared at his own reflection so long that he turned into a flower. If that doesn't describe me, I don't know what does.

Well, I did a google search of the muses, and I came up with three that appealed to me.

Clio, the muse of History. I love early history, and I enjoy reading historical fiction. History of Chinese Literature, History of Western Art, and Early World History were my favorite classes in college.

And then there's Polyhymnia, "She of Many Hymns," who brings distinction and immortal fame to writers. Hey, that can't be a bad thing, right??

Finally, there's Thalia, the muse of comedy. Except I think she abandons me on occasion when I get comic-writer's block... :shifty:

EDIT: Links fixed.

I would probly say Melpomene and Clio.

Because whenever I create a new character they almost always have some sort of traumatic experience in their past that dictates their future actions and personality.

I find Penguins to be Amusing in that sense

I think Euterpe is probably my muse. I have my best ideas while I listen to music. Besides, he is known as "The Giver of Pleasure" you can't go wrong with that.

Well, after looking through Wikipedia...
Possibly Thalia, Muse of Comedy, because... well, whenever I write something, there's always a bit of comedy in it.
Even when I don't want it to be there.
._.

Sadly, my muse is a slightly retarded, 300 pound cross-player. You have all seem him, he's the guy in the Faye Valentine outfit.

Needless to say, I don't call him much.
