You might as well sue the city councils because there are streets and squares where you can meet people including ones with unsavoury interests. And what is it about football team seniors that you think you can give your phone number to them safely?
|
Um...Doesn't myspace not allow underage users? I remember my sister (13 at the time) complaining that myspace would not allow her to sign up because she was too young.
|
I think 13's right where they draw the line.

Scapegoat, indeed.
Another case of censorship as opposed to self-moderation and proper parenting. The pedophile's been found! Quick, to the green minivan filled with candy! Pedo-Man away! But, seriously, if he was 19, maybe he had just graduated? Hadn't changed his profile yet? And wouldn't a 19 year old be just as wrong as a 17-18 year old? Damn double-standards. |
$30 Million? What a load of bullcrap. I mean, I'm all for going after sexual assaulters...Where is the law going?
|
...This happened in the states... my country has the legal age for sex at 14.
and, 19 and a 14 year old isn't that rare... If she WAS willing to meet him, and he had just graduated, maybe it isn't her that is suing, but maybe her parents instead...? It may all just be a get-rich-quick scheme the girl and this guy made up; it doesn't mention the guy being punished that I saw [edit] or, it's right in plain site. there goes my theory. :P and, let the fact I'm 18 and date girls 15-16 have NO say in my opinion on age here. :P |
Hah.
That's all I have to say. But really, as it's been said before, if you're stupid enough to believe anything you see from a person on the internet, you're not very smart. Coming into this forum, or any forum, you shouldn't, by default, believe anything they say about themselves. I mean, it's a general rule for a lot of things. Edit: Meant to say this earlier, but it was bound to happen eventually. Seriously, people sue for spilling coffee that was too hot or something on themselves. Didn't they win that, thought? |
MySpace is stupid. Who really cares?
Not me. |
