Rocketeer

Perhaps one of the best movies ever made.

Hot hot woman lead, rather cool guy lead, an old man who is awesome, Gangsters by the name of Valintine, the FBI, a Rocket pack, that fat guy getting pressed in half, LOTHAR, the Rocketeer helmet itself, and Nazis.

Really, you can't lose with a combo like that.

One of my favorite movies. Even before I hit peuberty but now, Jennifer Connely is just RAWR. lol

But pretty much its everything I like in a movie.

Funny coincidence, but today on TV was the Star Trek episode that featured the main guy in the Rocketeer.

I've never seen that movie, and people keep telling me to go rent it...I've played the music from the movie with an orchestra, though...good stuff. It gets stuck in your head, really. So it must be good.:)

Heck yeah. Bought that soundtrack so long ago and recently put it on my ipod. Such a good soundtrack (but then, James Horner rules).

Probably one of my favorite moments.

"I may not make a good living, but I'm still an American!"

Or something like that...it's been a while.

Some of the best 1990's special effects, too, with the gentlemen's diner and him shattering the glass roof.

And, hey, WWII nazi propaganda! What's not to love!

Other people know about The Rocketeer?!

Heck yes! XD For the longest time I thought everyone forgot about it but my family. I've never seen anyone else mention it before.

Mirai Gen, the quote you're looking for, according to IMDB is:

Shit, I couldn't find it on IMDB.

And why aren't more people posting in this thread?

Cuz they SUCK!

Lol, I donno. Not a new movie + notas well seen as other graphic novel/comic book conversion movies.

All I have to say is, Rocketeer was the Pirates of the Carribean of the 90s. Every once in a while, Disney does everything right. (Emporors New Groove too).
