Can you kick it?
http://today.reuters.com/news/newsAr...MANY-BALLS.xml
BERLIN (Reuters) - Police in Berlin said on Wednesday they had arrested two men on suspicion of placing cement-filled soccer balls around the city and inviting people to kick them. At least two people injured themselves by kicking the balls, which were chained to lampposts and trees alongside the spray-painted message: "Can you kick it?" Police said they had identified a 26-year-old and a 29-year-old and had found a workshop in their apartment where they made the balls. The two are accused of causing serious physical injury, dangerous obstruction of traffic and causing injury through negligence, police said. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! XD XD XD Oh my god. I just heard this on Countdown on MSNBC, and i couldn't stop laughing. XD Germans are awesome. |
aww, I hoped this thread would be like...an invite to post videos of us dancing in our dorm rooms...

I don't understand how they can say "at least" two people. I mean, how many people would kick a "soccer" ball, hurt/fracture/break their toe, and not tell anyone? Ah well, the world cup bonanza continues.
|
I wouldn't tell anyone just because i would feel stupid for actually doing something like that in the first place.
|
Who would be stupid enough to kick a soccer ball that has a sign on it saying, "Can you kick it?" Sounds like a lot of fun though! It would be fun to watch.

I would take medical treatment over my pride, in that situation. I mean, that would HURT. |
Wouldn't the emotional scars of all the mocking hurt worse?

Emotional scars? I'll take those over a broken toe any day. Mocking lasts a day, but a broken toe improperly healed lasts a long time. The emotional scars would have to find some new emotionally unscarred tissue, too.

Bah! I would mock you for weeks! I would get medical help but I wouldn't report it to anyone, and I would wait a day.
