People with the custom title "BANNED"
 

I'd just like to know why some users have the custom title "BANNED" when they're clearly not banned?

Either:

A) They have found that they can change their title to BANNED, and decided that it would be fun to keep it that way and trick people

or

B) They're actually banned.

I think the only person that is not really banned is anarchy something or other. And I think he just did it to fool people. Everybody else are really banned.

A week or two ago for posting something that mods really disliked in the animation thread. I think it was a thread called, Dubs vs. Subs. It made me sad that krylo was banned.

Its because the mods have stated several times that Dubs vs. Subs arguements werent allowed in the forums (even ranging back into the TWC days) and they were both here back then, and were given a few warnings...

Its just cuz it doesnt go anywhere, and... well, the mods dont like it.

They weren't perma-banned though (Or at least thats what the Subs vs. Dubs thread said...) and while it was harsh, they also did exactly what the Mods said not to do, which sort of caught me off guard since not one or two, but three forum vets did exactly what the mods said no to do, even though they have all been around long enough to have read the rules saying not to do it...

At least their bans should be just about over by now.

Kenryoku Maxis (who's also banned) and Priest4Hire started discussing the merits of dubs over subs (or vice versa) in one of the dubs/subs rule thread, and krylo thought it a good idea to create the Dubs vs. Subs thread. Well.

It is a pity indeed... but then, they all really have been around long enough to know better, and in a way, it's good to know our mods won't let something like that (knowing someone for a long time as a moderate poster and whatnot) get in their ways and I'm gonna stop now before I slide into discussing the bannage of a fellow member. I hear that gets ya into trouble.

Krylo, Priest4Hire, and Kenryoku Maxis have only been banned for two weeks. "Harsh" would've been kicking them off permanently, although that is supposed to be what happens if a poster does what they did, so we weren't being quite as impartial as probably we ought to have been according to the rules. Although if any of them do something like that again (I don't think they will, but who knows), they will have to go for good.

So, aside from Anarchy, anyone you see with the custom title "BANNED" really has been, although it's not always forever. We done?
