Newb, you miss the point. People are made of organic materials. Rocks are not. Well, mostly at least. If this transportation functions by construction of a body, you need all the right amounts of calcium, carbon, water, iron, potassium and so on.

Also, time delays aren't really that great a concern, but you do not seem to understand something about nanites. Only two or eight nanites doing something is massively ineffective. You can fit hundreds, if not thousands, of nanites on the head of a pin. It's like trying to move a mountain with a workforce of one guy armed with a spoon.

POWERS: Everything about Pedro O'Sullivan that we all can't help but love, along with relatively enhanced strength, speed, and agility, the ability to manipulate and give physical form to the shadows of himself and those around him, and short distance line-of-sight portal creation. He also has the ability to summon an ultimate attack if necessary, the Negative Heart Crusher, which channels all the darkness in his soul into a concentrated mass-destructive attack. It should be noted that, as a side-effect involved with the use of this ability, all of the darkness in Pedro's own heart is temporarily washed away and so he prefers only to use it as a desperation maneuver.

This is starting to look like an argument I saw once in which one person was trying to light something on the other side of a wall on fire and the other person was saying that they couldn't because "fire spells don't work like that"

When I said they manipulate matter, I really meant that they manipulate matter. They can change atoms into different atoms easy. The problem is that when the density is vastly different, that's a bad plan.

This couldn't be used to just change the air, but only because teleporting into the middle of a vacuum is a bad idea for continued survival.




And I understand what you were saying about abusability, but that's why Mother is there. Mother stops me from doing anything truly gamebreaking, and if I go too far by accident, there's a built in safety in my abilities right there in Mother suddenly saying "Action restricted. Unable to comply."



I understand that you need to exert and maintain control, and I respect your desire to do so, but I've left a handy control right in the bio.

Newb, your so called control practically screams 'will be bypassed at some point'. Seeing how these nanites are not operating on anything even remotely approaching a scientific level, they will not be granted some of the advantages possible with 'real' nanites.

I will declare the following (some of these are already stated, but just making them clear) to keep them operating to their intention:
-The nanites are unable to replicate on their own.
-The nanites are unable to operate for extended periods of time away from their power source
-A group of nanites below a certain size is unable to operate (this size being something smaller than a speck of dust).
-The teleportation ability requires significant numbers of nanites on both sides and requires some time for disassembly and reassembly.
-Any matter manipulation must follow equivalent exchange and is generally energy intensive and slow, depending on the extent of manipulation. For example, simply doing something like reshaping a metal item is fairly easy, whereas something like condensing gold out of air would take absolutely forever (years?) and heaps of energy.

Now, I think that's everything. Is this acceptable Newb?
