Wouldn't the jumpers have to be at least in one hemisphere? The jump areas listed on the page are pretty much all across the planet.

And that's only where the problems start, but I'm not going into more...

So, if we get all the Chinese people to jump at the same time... Boom, all our problems are solved! .... Or Armaggedon!

But you got to applaude such nice simple Logic... just imagine if people payed more attetion to stuff like this... maybe a scientist could discover a way to Send Earthquakes worldwide by jumping on a specific spot... its a whole new crazy jumping war system!

It might be the fact the Earth is 5.9742×10^24 kg that's making me skeptical.

Or it could be that it seems to violate Newtonian physics.

Or the fact it's unplausible bullshit.

Yeah, like Meister said... if a ton (Or a few million tons) of people from across the world jumped at the same time, wouldn't it pretty much negate itself? o_O

And even IF it worked, who's to say it's not gonna do something like pull our orbit CLOSER to the sun or have it be too close to Mars' orbit? ¬_¬

I feel sorry for everyone looking at their watches on the day, just waiting for the new cool breeze of ANTI-GLOBAL WARMING to soothe them, along with like 28 hour days.

It's just ashame that some people really do believe anything =(
