Harmony of Chaos; Chapter 4: Aw hell, a spleen'll do.
 

The group walked out on the other side of the mountains, in much better condition then before. The sky was also lovely, and there wasn't any bloodthirst mangled creatures after them.

"So, Thomas? Where is that arrow pointing?"

He pointed. "Right then, off we go in that direction."

Kal walked to the front of the group and led them off in that direction.

They started to note that the sky was growing darker....and there was a castle with an extensive graveyard ahead of them.

Zorha rode up to Kal. "Why would you give the compass to the cursed guy? If someone took it from him, he wouldn't be able to take it back due to the curse."

OOC: No one is supposed to know what it is.

OOC: Well, he knows you gave it to him. He knows your following where it is pointing it, but he doesn't know exactly what it is pointing to. He just knows that everyone is following it.

"Graveyards... Time to cut ourselves a side of undead meat."

Alka smacked his axe into his hand.

"What? You're paranoid. There's lots of castles with graveyards. Some people like having all their family in one place. And besides, I know the crazy old cook that lives here. Come to think of it....I haven't heard from him for a few years..."

Thomas looked nicely at the necklace Kal had given them. For some reason, an arrow on it kept moving, and Kal would follow it. Thomas didn't care. He had a new shiny, and no one was going to take this one.

"All I can say is, many bodies and a creepy environment usually makes for undead-slaying action... Hey, priest, how good are you with the "light of righteousness" and all that?"

"I'm not a priest. I'm a ex-healer."

"Hmmmm. You know a creepy cook that lives in a dark castle that has a big graveyard, and conveniently, you haven't heard from him in several years. Anyone else see where this is going?"
